  1. "Rusting iron on a hillside! You're a Seer?!" Her eyes were wide. "Where'd you get the atium?"
  2. She gave him a flat look. "Yeah." She said dryly. "It's not like reading could possibly be useful in this situation." She then grinned at him, fairly sure she had gotten her point across.
  3. She nodded. "I see." She said thoughtfully.
  4. "Touché." She said, and then headed over to the fire guy. "HEY!" She yelled to the fire guy. "YOU UP THERE! COULD WE TALK TO YOU FOR A MINUTE?" @The Unknown Order
  5. Ladashwy was in her hotel room, sleeping.
  6. Okay. This is likely to have been done wrong. Lift Healer? Support? Edgedancer Auto attack: Hugs! Stuns a character for 3 seconds. Z: FOOD! Restores mana levels completely. Q: Attack of the Shardfork! Summons a throwable Shardfork that can deal damage to one enemy Hero. W: Rockbud Barrier. Creates a barrier of Rockbuds that stays up for 4 seconds. E: Slickness. Allows you to go twice as fast for 10 seconds. R(1): Regrowth. Heals one Hero of your choice completely (including you). R(2): Extreme Abrasion. All enemy Heroes have no control over their movements or actions for 1.5 seconds. D: Cognitive Anomaly. Passive trait. Can interact with anyone in the Cognitive Realm (*looks at Kelsier*) and in the Physical Realm.
  7. Yes. Very much so. I'm not able to do it often, but still. TPBM likes sneaking quotes (or likes it when others sneak quotes) into conversations.
  8. "But of course! It would be foolhardy to travel with no means of protecting myself. I myself favor a spear."
  9. She shrugged. "I noticed him, although I really don't want to get burned, so that means that he's probably going to be part of our group." She said, a bit disappointed. I really hope he doesn't get freaked out.
  10. Her face reddened a bit. "Well, I was bored, so I started writing out chemical compounds." She said "These first ones are extremely common, like salt, sugar, baking soda, and vinegar. These other ones are some random, but useful, chemical compounds."
  11. "Go where?" She was still inspecting the engine, as she was a very thorough person.
  12. The moment you realize you were supposed to turn in a roast but never did, even though you had one written.
  13. Yup. Exactly.
  14. And Hemalurgists. A Hemalurgist could spike the misting, and give the spike to a gold Feruchemist.
  15. Shade choked at the comment. She effectively disguised her laughter as coughing.
  16. She walked, and watched for more people. She noticed someone on a roof playing with fire. She looked at him for a moment before deciding to move on. A small part of her felt like she needed to talk to him, but she ignored the feeling. She did not want that guy to think she was insane, and then throw fireballs at her or something. @The Unknown Order
  17. Lilliana sighed. Well, I might as well be productive... She pulled her notebook and pencil back out of the bag, and started marking off different sections. Okay. Section 1 will be for Chemistry, Section 2 will be for Biology, Section 3 will be for Physics, and Section 4 will be for engineering. I'll also make an extra section for Genetics. Yeah, that should work. I know quite a bit about genetics, as that is my favorite scientific field. She nodded to herself, and started working on drawing out different chemical structures. First: Sodium Bicarbonate, NaHCO3. If I am going to do any chemistry stuff at all, I'll need baking soda handy. Isopropanol could also be useful when cleaning up. Yeah, I'll put that down too. And I'll want to add common chemical formulas. Yeah. I'll add Sodium Chloride, Glucose, Ammonia, Acetic Acid... I guess I'll add Ethanol and Methanol. I mean, I do have Isopropanol. She kept adding different chemical formulas to the chemistry section of her notebook. I should add chemical structures for things I could use. Like Aspirin. Or Ibuprofen. Or Caffeine. Yeah.
  18. She looked at him skeptically. "Uh, I already said I'd help you. You don't need to try to convince me. Also, I don't think you do understand. You don't seem like that type of person."
  19. She nodded, making sure to stay close. I wouldn't want to get lost in a city of this size, especially since I know no one here but him.
  20. "Why, to myself and to my family. I travel, as there are few ways for a woman to make a living in most lands."
  21. Cilliss frowned. Hm... That doesn't seem good.
  22. She shook her head, still inspecting the engine. "You don't understand, do you? You just don't understand the joy of puting your time, blood, sweat, and tears into something and then seeing it work. The fulfilling feeling you get when you take something good, and make it better! The satisfaction of doing something the hard way and seeing it pay off. That wonderful moment of pure gratification, when you can look at something and be able to think: "I made that myself. I took things others might think are useless, and put them together in a way that makes them beneficial, worthwhile, or rewarding. And I didn't take any shortcuts." When was the last time you did something with your own two hands, just to say you could? Or the last time you created something without your narration? Something that makes you proud just looking at it." She looked at him. "Because I feel like you are assuming things that shouldn't be assumed. When did I say I wanted my memories back? And if I do want them back, what gave you the impression that I would want help? I like doing things myself. I enjoy figuring out how things work. I don't mind helping you, but you should be more careful with your assumptions." She looked back to her engine. "And next time, just ask. I don't need you to help me for me to help you. That's not... Well... How I do things. It's not how I work." She ran her hand over it lovingly. "Plus, there is always something new to try, and there is always a way to improve something." She smiled.
