  1. Hello! Would you like to destroy do some Evil RPing today? Anyone? The random bystander sat on a stool, playing her instrument. "Hello friends! Would you like to learn about far off worlds, creatures larger and more dangerous than dragons, and rocks that grow like plants?" She played the instrument with skilled fingers. "Or would you like to learn about magic that allows people to run up walls, change the shape of stone, or grow trees in seconds?" Her music grew faster and faster until it came to an abrupt end. "Come ask, if you are interested."
  2. *Glares* "Don't poke me." I just worldhopped from Scadrial... I sure hope that this doesn't turn out like that did. "And I am not just any random bystander, I'm a musician. A worldsinger." She grinned. "I almost died on the last world I was on. I won't die here. I would like to see some dragons." I vote to give myself the crossbow. I only trust myself right now.
  3. "Well, Sand Mastery is common in the Sahara and Gobi deserts." She paused. "And... We know of another type of magic." She said, seeming hesitant.
  4. "Pretty darn public. We keep it hidden from outsiders, but most locals know about it."
  5. "Kind of." She smiled. "We are more like a specialized police force. There are different magic threats out there, and my Diem focuses on the human ones." She grinned. "I don't have to worry about that yet. I'm still in training."
  6. "Uh... Who are you?"
  7. "Yeah!" She then thought for a moment before replying to the next question. "Yeah, of course. In the Diem I was trained in, there were at least 50 others. Typically, we keep to ourselves. We're basically an anti-terrorism group." She grinned. "I haven't been able to complete my training yet, but I have Masteral potential." She said proudly.
  8. Yeah. If it wasn't for her, I don't think things would have turned out as well as they did. Although, Lift was the one who showed Nightblood how to turn food into investure. Without that, Nightblood would have starved.
  9. Oh yeah. I forgot about that part. I'm just really glad that Kelsier figured out how to worldhop. Who knew that you have to do the worm in the perpendicularity to worldhop when you are that invested. And I'm so glad Nightblood has Bill now. If he didn't, I don't know how he would hande being human. And that part with Vasher was really sad. I liked that one part when he started correcting Dalinar. The quote, if I remember correctly, is "But it's not a chicken. It's a bird." That was really funny.
  10. I know, right? And now we know that he's trying to become Adonalsium, just so that he can say that he did it. I think book 5 is going to be very strange... I also really liked the part where Nightblood became a Skybreaker after bonding that Highspren. What was its name again? Bill? That was it, right? I still can't believe that he was able to swear all the oaths at one time.
  11. I was so surprised by that ending. I mean, the fact that Hoid was Adonalsium all along and hadn't died was not what I had expected. And then when he un-shattered the shards. I was so confused. I thought that there would be no point to the next book, until that part where Kelsier worldhopped and punched Hoid in the face. I didn't expect that to be what re-shattered Adonalsium. And the part where Kelsier became the shard of Blatant Thievery was probably my favorite part of the entire book. I don't know how Brandon does it.
  12. "Okay." She snuck over to the wall. It was easy because the guard was distracted by two people. She cloaked herself in an illusion, and tried to get some of the bricks to turn into a soft clay. "It's not working." She whispered to Sequence. "What do I do?"
  13. "Okay!" She skipped away, out of the guard's sight. "Well. That didn't work very well..." She scanned an un-guarded area of the wall. "I might be able to blend into the wall, and scale it." She looked at Sequence. "What do you think?" @JesterLavorre
  14. She looked at the man with her most innocent expression. What do I doooooo? "Huh?" I'm just glad that I'm short for my age. "I wanted to see the Radiants." She lied easily, and convincingly. "They are amazing! I want to be one when I'm older!"
  15. "But... I don't know what to do." She said softly. "I... I can't... I don't know how. I've never broken into anywhere this heavily guarded... I... I'll get caught... I'm not good enough at sneaking to do it..." She paused. "But... I have to, don't I." With that, she carefully tried to get into the palace. Come on... Don't notice me.
  16. Mallory was still running. She hadn't stopped, and didn't plan to stop anytime soon. She had run many marathons before, and had wonderful endurance.
