Hmm, yes. I've been making breakthroughs lately, whenever I'm not role-playing or doing schoolwork like a good student.
It seems that the more you post on here, the more reputation you'll get. For some unknown and perhaps abstract reason: the funnier the post, the more reputation you'll receive. No one will give you reputation for responding to role-plays or something unusual like that, unless it relates to something relatively amusing. When you're posting a status update, you'll most likely receive some reputation for it, but not like a truck load. As far as I know, not a lot of people receive a truck load of reputation from one post, unless it's emotionally valuable, humorous, or you merely happen to have a lot of followers.
Let's take Fadran for example, and hopefully he won't come at me. He has over eight thousand posts (to be specific, 8,218 as of when I'm looking at it), and out of those eight thousand were about two thousand repped (to be specific, 2,129 as of when I'm looking at it). He has 58 followers, out of me have no clue are active. I will note he joined the Shard in October of 2019 and will make two different equations. Therefore on average, forgive me if my math is wrong because I'm dreadful at it, about 3468.333 and so on of his posts are receiving reputation from his followers alone, if we're excluding the date he joined. If I were to add when he joined, the average would be 3106, which is considerably different than the first equation. I don't think that's right average considering I'm not taking in account of the people who might rep him for some posts that do not follow him, but who knows or cares currently. The point is I did some math. I'm also not taking into account of the people who are not giving him reputation for role-plays, so this is possibly inaccurate.
But when we look at Connie (please don't come at me), who has 10,570 posts, 1,294 reputation, 66 followers, and joined the Shard in January of 2020, it doesn't make sense that of when you post more, you'll get more reputation. Her average would be without the date involved, take this with a grain of salt, 3976.666 and so on, of course without counting the people who rep her without following her. Her average with the date would be 3487.5. Both of the equations do not take into account of how many role-play posts she has, so both of these equations are possibly inaccurate. Fadran has more rep than Connie, but has fewer followers and posts than her. Is it because he is more humorous than her, or because Connie does many role-plays? It is possible it's because of when they joined the Shard, because Fadran joined four months earlier than Connie.
This obviously requires more testing, but this is what I have presently. Did this status matter? Not really. Merely wanted to do this instead of watching a documentary for school.

I actually get repped pretty often for roleplaying. Writing a good, emotionally balanced scene is the perfect way to grab a few upvotes. Never underestimate the power of prose.
I have my own equation, however:
Fadran has x posts and y reputation. If he has 58 followers, then how much does he care about upvotes? Answer? He doesn't!
