"What do you mean by 'convert,' Ellis?" Q said with a slight glare.
-
Q shook her head. "No amount of persuasion can make me eat or even buy a hot dog."
-
Q shot a glare right back at Melody, but it quickly faded as she laughed softly, giving the faintest yet genuine smile. "Yeah, I guess so. With what luck this group has collectively, no amount of prayers to Ko'ad could help us."
-
Q shrugged. "'Expect the unexpected, or you'll end up dead in a ditch,' as my... former superior would say."
-
"I would be deeply concerned, but not surprised if we do."
-
Q pursed her lips. "True. Not sure if Gerald would appreciate it, but we'll find out in a second either once he notices I'm talking about him, or we've had some sort of dinner."
-
"Nothing fazes me anymore," she said, almost to herself. "I'm assuming that no one cared to bring some sort of backpack or satchel with them to carry this?"
-
"Swordplay is overrated." Q looked down at the pile of stuff, and kicked a rock towards it. "What about that stuff?" Pardon me and my idiotness, but what time is it in the rp?
-
"Hmm," Q said, nodding. "That usually takes a montage, but it appears that a flipwipe would do."
-
Hehe, I'm an idiot for not reading everything.
-
"Thanks, Ellis," she said sarcastically. "Maybe having set up a tent before is definitely going to help us." She shook her head, smirking slightly. "That's him. He hasn't changed a bit since I've last saw him." Q looked again at the mess of a tent, pursing her lips. "You want to separate the poles from the actual tent fabric, then we'll get started, but I see that you're already on top of that."
-
Q sighed softly, placing the rain cap on the ground beside her tent. She rubbed the bridge of her nose before heading over to where Melody had been setting up. Q scanned the mess of both poles and tent. "Let me guess," she started, "'Peregrino' didn't give you any instructions on how to set one up."
-
Almost finished with her tent, Q looks over to the others. "Are you telling me that you've never done this before?" she called over to them, sorting out the rain flaps and other stakes.
-
Q rolled her eyes slightly. "Yes, of course." She picked up her own tent by her feet, walking off a bit eastward from where the others were standing. "If you need me," she said, pulling out the instructions with a swift motion, "I'll be setting up my own tent, thank you very much."
-
Oh, lol. That's really goo–– wait, what's that supposed to mean?
-
"Hold up." Q made a T with her hands. "Started on what? I thought that Ellis was doing this as a practical joke."
-
"Ellis has your guy's tent," Q interjected. She patted the tent bag by her feet. "I have my own."
-
Q's eyebrow lifted again. She placed her tent down in front of her. "Probably going to need some of it later," she mumbled under her breath. Q looked back up at Gerald and shrugged. "Maybe they're quest related."
-
Q raised an eyebrow, then shrugged. "Not the craziest thing I've heard today," she said. "Is the stuff at least useful?"
-
As they approach the campsite, Q hefted her tent on her shoulder, glancing towards the others. "You guys didn't have too much fun while I was gone?" she asked when they walked up to the others.

^^^^^^^^^ Think again, Fadran.
-
No, actually, we're waiting for Ellis right now. *cough* @Channelknight Fadran *cough cough*

The man looked up towards the new voice. He cocked his head. "The means that I would use might not apply to you as they would for me."
-
The man in the white trench coat took a causal step back from the fire, still looking at the jar in hand. He then looked up at the fire, raising an eyebrow in the direction where the fire had come from then shrugged as if it wasn't the craziest thing he had ever saw. "Thank you for the light," he said casually as he looked back down at his hands, twisting the jar of glowing liquid.

In the Last Desolation, in the Battle for Thaylen City, when Odium first showed himself, one stood. He chose the path of perpetual torment. In his ravenous Thrill, he found no peace. And with boiling blood, he scoured the Shattered Plains, seeking vengeance against the God of Emotion who had wronged him. And those that tasted the bite of his Shardblade named him... The Blackthorn.
