  1. "To be honest," she said, pulling away from him and giving a ghost of a smile. "The Death Angels sound like a heavy metal band. But I have no idea what in the name of Ko'ad you're talking about."
  2. Q fell silent. Confusion flickered in her gaze. "The who now?"
  3. "You guys are saying these things like I'm supposed to know what you're talking about," she grumbled. "Shoot and I'll probably have an answer. No promises."
  4. Q sat up, grumbling something incomprehensible under her breath. "I feel like I should know the name, but the memory is slipping." Q got on her feet, wobbling a bit before standing up straighter.
  5. "Like someone's voice." She gave him a hard look. "Why? Were you expecting something else?"
  6. Q shook her head. "As I've said before, I can't remember anything. But they must've been good if they managed to beat me. I've been told I'm a hard opponent."
  7. "I don't know," she said in an exasperated tone. "As I have said before, I can't remember the whole experience. All I remember is hearing a noise, turning around, then blacking out. I woke up on the roof with blood all over me, passed out, then ended up here." Q rolled her eyes. "By all means, tell me what I was thinking."
  8. "Y'know," she said, looking indifferent as if nothing had happened. "If I didn't feel like throwing up every two seconds, you wouldn't have your hand right now. Remind me when I'm feeling better to judo-flip you. Why did you do that?"
  9. Q nodded. "I see." She waved her hand. "If only barely, Ellis."
  10. "No, I don't," she said, rolling her eyes. "It's just that... it's only that..." For once, she was at a loss for words. Q's eyebrows knitted together as she opened her mouth then thought against it. "Were my eyes a different color when I was fighting?" she asked instead.
  11. Q's eye twitched. "Been a while since I've lost," she said under her breath. She nodded slightly. "Funny thing that I cannot remember the fight."
  12. "I remember passing out," she said, holding up a finger. "But I don't remember why I passed out. I'm guessing that it has something to do with this." She gestured to the IVs in her arms. "If only barely, it would seem."
  13. Q managed to raise an eyebrow. "You found a doctor," she said slowly, "and he 'did something' that so happened to be his job?" She tried to raise her head up but looked immediately sick. Q laid her head back down. She furrowed her eyebrows, as if she was trying to remember something. "Also, what did I do? I can't remember wha––" she stopped herself as realization filled her eyes before being smothered with indifference. "I can't remember what happened, that's all."
  14. Q seemed to be sleeping peacefully for a moment, finding that she was relaxing for the first time in forever. I'm not going after your brand, Disney, but I kind of am. Her breathing had returned to normal and she even unclenched her fist. It was not two seconds after when she muttered something under her breath. Her eyes flickered open at the sudden light, squinting. Q immediately tried to sit up, but that only ended in grunts of pain and her laying back down. "I wasn't having any nightmares for once," she whispered quietly. "How long was I out? Follow up question: Where am I and why am I not dead yet?"
  15. Doobie, doobie, do bah. Doobie, doobie, do bah. Agent G~ I'll excuse myself now
  16. Well, it's in her job description. Plus, as you have seen before, she has a duty right now to protect this ragtag group of adventurers. This often requires putting yourself right on death's doorstep, but it's also something that she is familiar with.
  17. Oh, no really? I thought that she would like to take a nice little nap as she continues to bleed herself out.
  18. I will neither confirm nor deny that she has died before. I will say that yes, she has been on the brink of death multiple times in her life, probably more than ten or fifteen times if we want a specific number.
  19. Again, probably one of the most tamest things that Q's ever been through. But I see your point and I'll just wait, maybe throw in the occasional rambling if I feel like it.
  20. Man, I love being the wounded character and watch people try to save mine even though she has been through things like this before and this is probably one of the tamest things she's ever been through.
  21. So who wants to rp as the healer?
  22. Q looked like she was going to follow, but the smoke dissipated from her eyes. She muttered a distorted curse under her breath before her eyes turned back into their normal blue. Q stumbled back, her breathing becoming rapid. She looked down at her hands, ignoring the blood as she saw that she was holding her long silvery blade. She looked on it with horror, before dropping it. Before the blade even hit the ground, it disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Q looked up and saw the people there and finally noticed the trail of blood. She furrowed her eyebrows as she followed it, trying to connect it with any of the other people there before finally realizing that she had been the one that had been trailing it. Her breathing came out in gasps as she looked down at her arms again, finally regarding the blood that practically soaked her arms. She squinted at her arms, seeing only fuzziness when doing so. "Well," she said, looking back up at the rest of the group. Q wobbled in her stance as she looked a bit sick. "You probably have questions that it seems that I only have the answer to." And with that, Q promptly collapsed on the ground from blood loss.
  23. "You little Ko'ad forsaken––" her voice was trailed off in the high wind before she could finish the curse. As Q fell, she reached out and black energy coated her hand when she slammed it into the roof. She slowed to a stop and looked up, the fury gone down to a smolder in her pitch black eyes. Q rose and glared at the young woman for a second, then she smirked. Blade at her side, she dashed again to meet with Y, then swung her silvery blade in a high arc, missing Y; almost like it was on purpose. But before Y could do anything and Q collapse from the blood loss, her black knife flashed in Q's hand as she stabbed it cleanly in Y's left side. No emotion showed in her eyes as she did so; in fact, the fury was gone and she almost looked like a blank slate.
  24. Q waved her hand, and a force pushed Ellis back, away from the flying blades. She seemed to ignore the others; in fact, she didn't even seem to notice them. Her eyes turned back to the pitch black, the smoke practically pouring from the corners of her eyes. As Q deflected more and more blades, she yelled. "Have it your way!!" she screamed, her voice a bit distorted, as if it were someone else trying to speak through her voice. Falling into a more aggressive stance, Q dashed towards Y with inhuman speed, not even caring if the blades sliced her arms. She was gliding on the floor, with the grace of an experienced dancer as she wove her way to her opponent. A thick trail of blood followed at her wake, but she didn't care. She was beyond the point of caring for her own well-being at the moment. Through the pitch black eyes, anyone could see the determination as well as the anger that showed through. No, it wasn't anger; it was fury. As Q reached Y, she thrust her blade into the young woman. @Ookla the Reserved
