I know, I know. Although I really feel like The Set is kind of lazy as villains (or maybe I'm just thinking of Mr. Suit and Telsin), but I think the organization can look a whole lot more interesting and credible if we see a little bit of Trell and his main lackeys, to make him credible as a threat to Harmony in the future in Era 3. (Because after all, Harmony's greatest enemy is having two diametrically opposed Shards, but overall it should be easy for him to take down an... ¿avatar?, of another Shard, as maybe it is Trell)

I would definitely like to see a longer appearance from Hoid, at least like Warbreaker's. Also, I wish that at least The Set is totally defeated, it seems to me quite lazy compared to the secret organizations of Roshar and the entire Cosmere. Yesterday I finished my rereading of RoW, so I have some opinions: 1. The first part was too tedious and feels disconnected from the rest of the book, but I still find it necessary. 2. Adolin has become one of the best characters in SA, I enjoyed his PoV much more than Shallan's. 3. Brandon owes us in the fifth book, plus participation from Dalinar, Szeth, Jasnah, Lift and Rysn. 4. The book lacked comic moments, even being the book where Wit appears the most. 5. Chapter 111 should have been separated into two chapters, one with what happened in Urithiru and the other with what happened in Dalinar and Ishar. It was anticlimactic to have both intertwined in a single chapter, both chapters being action, and not laid back like 116, for example. 6. Mraize's actions do not make Thaidakar a villain. Thaidakar is a questionable person, but Mraize is simply despicable and is definitely the person that Thaidakar would punch, but it turns out that he is one of his lackeys. 7. Dalinar has heard the term "Adonalsium" since WoK thanks to Wit, Stormfather, maybe Ash, and now Ishar. But still, it never asks what or who Adonalsium is, and it's frustrating because anyone would react with curiosity and ask what that term means. 8. Zahel totally disappeared after his conversation with Kaladin. I just hope he and Azure appear in the fifth book. Likewise, I loved the book and sometimes how heavy it is, and it was OB, we can justify it with that they are the middle point of the saga. WoR still seems like the best of the 4, but I'm sure the fifth will be the best

I don't know if it has already been discussed here but, by rereading Mistborn and Stormlight simultaneously, I started to think of a hypothetical structure of Mistborn Era I with flashbacks. In Stormlight, each book has a POV character for the flashbacks (Kaladin, Shallan, Dalinar, Venli / Eshonai, Szeth in the fifth book), so if Mistborn had had them I think they could be like this: 1. The Final Empire: Definitely Kelsier. Vin is undoubtedly the protagonist, but Kell's presence is the other big part of the book. The first flashback could be the murder of his mother, while the next ones could be her relationship with Mare; how he became Luthadel's biggest thief, then the botched robbery at Kredik Shaw; the Pits of Hathsin, the death of Mare and Kelsier breaking as Mistborn; and as a final flashback, the story we know as The Eleventh Metal. 2. The Well of Ascension: Here these could be from Sazed (if they were in the third book, it would be indirectly spoiler, I think). He has a very interesting past, with which we could see Terris, with the Synod and the social structure of him; We could see Tindwyl as a young, and why Terris society considered Sazed a rebel, and later the time when he met Mare and Kelsier, and he started working in the underworld of Luthadel. 3. The Hero of Ages: Here these would definitely be Vin's. I know that Kelsier fits a couple of symptoms of psychopathy, but there are other symptoms that define psychopathy like an inability to love, a lack of empathy, and no guilt for your actions. I recently finished my rereading of Mistborn Era 1, Eleventh Metal, and Secret History. I looked at the things I said in the main post, like love for his mother Marsh, her crew and especially Mare. If Kelsier were a psychopath, he would never have loved any of them, he would not have hated the nobility for taking his mother from him, he would not have suffered Mare's death, he would not have felt guilt for his actions, he would not have empathized with the Skaa or the Southerners, he would not have hurt the deaths of his friends or avenged himself on the nobles and the Lord Ruler. People use Kelsier's hatred towards the nobles as an argument to say that he is a psychopath, but nobody remembers that this hatred is thanks to the death of his mother and years later Mare, it is exactly the same as Kaladin's hatred towards the lighteyes for the deaths of Tien and the others whom he could not protect, only that Kelsier constantly took revenge. Killing so many nobles may have been ruthless, but really Kelsier had that hatred because he loved his mother, and it's no different than Kaladin's hatred for lighteyes due to the death of Tien and the people he couldn't protect, and Kal is not a psychopath for it (he suffers from depression but it is something radically different). * Kelsier really loves his friends, he is uncompromisingly loyal and literally went to his death to protect his friends (Spook, OreSeur and the other prisoners). * Kelsier really loved Mare, he always says it and it shows that it is true, an example of this is the beginning of Eleventh Metal (destroyed by her death) and then in a couple of conversations with Vin at TFE. He was literally a tyrant and genocidal, he killed thousands and thousands of people to unify Aletzkhar, even burning an entire city, killing hundreds of people in each battle and enjoying the bloodbath (The Thrill is not an excuse, it is not like Ruin controlling the inquisitors, but rather like emotional allomancy, nothing to do with a control of people but igniting something they already feel). Dalinar is a great character but Kelsier did not kill a small part of what Dalinar did, who is not a psychopath and is redeemed despite carrying thousands and thousands of deaths on his back. I also don't think that the fact that Kelsier is a Cognitive Shadow makes him a villain, evil, or psychopath. He's only been around for 300 years and in the comfort of Scadrial. While, that the Cognitive Shadows that are crazy are the Heralds due to THOUSANDS of years of torture in Braize, in addition to that they have been 7000 years old, and Kelsier only 300 which is only about 5% that the Heralds. I really like that Kelsier is the leader of the Ghostbloods, I think his crew was the antecedent of the organization, and that after the Catacendre and Spook bringing Kelsier to the Physical Realm with hemalurgy, the first Ghostbloods were Kell and Spook as leaders, Ham, Breeze, Allrianne, Beldre, Cett, Noorden, maybe Yomen and Marsh, and probably Felt. I hope Brandon amazes us with Kelsier's handling of Stormlight 5, Wax and Wayne 4, and Mistborn Era 3, and that he applies the Lord of the Scars mantra. There is always another secret.

Personally, I find that "Odium does not want to invest" incoherent, since it is literally divided into 9 Unmade (very powerful spren, although not as powerful as Stormfather), it grants voidlight and its abilities to the Fused, it has thousands of voidspren, the Raysium like god metal, and that its rhythm is one of the rhythms of Roshar, so invested it is there. I have always thought that the Shards of Roshar are more divided (spren, lights, Heralds of Honor) than others such as Endowment or Harmony

The conversation between Kalak and Shallan should have come out where he tells her all about the Ghostblood, Kelsier, other planets of the Cosmere and the seon. Hey! I don't know if this post corresponds to this forum, but I wanted to know if anyone here knows the typeface that Brandon's name uses on the covers of his books in Spain, published by NOVA. I make covers in Spanish (because it's my language) to spend my free time, and although I have a PNG with the "Brandon Sanderson" that the Spanish covers have, it is not the same as having the font / typography. I have searched in Whatfontis and got two similar fonts: "Parkson Personal Use" and "Equal Sand Demo" but I tried both and they are not the same used by Spanish covers. If anyone knows what source it is, or can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I also know of some fonts used by American and British covers, in case anyone wants to know. At the end of RoW, Taravangian ascends to Odium and inherits quite a few memories and information from Rayse. Well, I don't know if it's Brandon's favoritism towards TOdium, but I don't understand why Taravangian inherits so much information, but Kelsier, Vin and Sazed don't inherit any information from each other's pre-Preservation vessel (Kelsier from Leras, Vin from Kelsier and Sazed from Vin). And the same case of Sazed with Ati. Maybe Kelsier doesn't inherit any information from Leras because the latter was slowly dying, but Vin should have inherited Kelsier's short-time memories as Preservation as well as Taravangian from Odium, and Sazed should have inherited Vin's memories and Ati when ascending, but it was not like that and it gives me a feeling of unevenness between the shards, despite the fact that Odium is somewhat hurt by his battles in the Cosmere, but Preservation and Ruin are intact despite the deaths of their original vessels.
