  1. Desolation held out his Nohr-maul blade to him. "Never, foolish child."
  2. Desolation formed into a figure to farther examine the person.
  3. Desolation indeed enters, but leaves an Avatar outside to keep watch on the foolhardy adventurers.
  4. "Fine. I will prove my worthiness, so that way you can just leave me alone."
  5. "I am simply preventing people from entering. It is unrelated to worthyness in any aspect."
  6. "I'm not visiting the Dreamsmith. I am preventing people from trying to be worthy to visit the Dreamsmith."
  7. "Whatever. Why are you here, and who's side are you on?"
  8. "I care not about the Dreamsmith. Tell him Darkness will deal with him."
  9. "For plot development. A story without conflict is no story at all."
  10. Desolation was, unfortunately, inside. The bullets were completely absorbed, and Desolation completely covered the door to the Dreamsmith's house. "I've been planning this trap for a very long time, Unintelligible." Cognition whimpered in the background.
  11. "Of course. You really thought you could prepare for over 5 pages without an antagonist interrupting you?"
  12. Desolation, was, in fact, actually there. It was an unfortunate coincidence. "Too predictable." Desolation gloated, narration armor glimmering inside the small house, "Darkness told me you would be here." The once-author's powers were surpressed, and Unintelligible found his Anti-inkling rounds had vanished.
  13. Ride/dire a if on/no go a wa en/ne Probably a Caesar cipher and something else
  14. "But still... Desolation has proven himself to get past many other protections before. Just look at things like eternal banishment!"
  15. I would say it is because it doesn't fit into the greater Cosmere image. The shards, investiture- all that. Plus, it takes place on earth, which is not in the Cosmere. That would be the greatest reason why in my opinion.
  16. "Unintelligible, what will you do if Desolation kills the Dreamsmith? Won't that be really bad?"
  17. Eh... Yes yes do join the Darkness' side
  18. "You are doomed to fail. What do you even expect?" Cognition looked worried. "At the very least bring the anti-inkling rounds."
  19. Don't worry, desolation can come back with him :/ Yyeyyeyeyes
  20. "Desolation- I can definitely find him." Cognition pulled out a strange golden box, no larger than a sugar cube. "This will show you which direction he is in, as well as the parameters away he is." "Do you not realize, that if you aren't coming, we are basically doomed. If Darkness' debt is invoked by Desolation, the Dreamsmith might even die. In fact, there's a good chance that all of us will die without a powerful narrator." Cognition said, "But wait, platypus the Narrator would never do that. Platypus is far beyond that in his head." "With help, yes."
