  1. Melody defied herself. She puts down the blade, and collapses
  2. You know what, Scarlet Octopus thought, I don't care if I die.. "In what world does Sirta's actions make sense if he were to have one of those strange roles that are of the mist? Would it make sense? I'm just trying to make sure we haven't forgotten anything.c "Sounds like exactly something that a spiked would say," Scarlet muttered. 7. It withholds throughout, for the mark of the Stellarknight exceeds all. Awaken/Melody immediately reaches forward, and rips out Jar Man's heart, stabbing the man's brain completely through with the sword. A Chromatic rain smashes through the rest of his body, crushing it in iridescent colors. She turned and started walking away, still glowing with a Chromatic haze. @TheRavenHasLanded
  8. Melody's outstretched hand doesn't take back the blade. It generates a completely new one. Right in Jar Man's chest. Filled to the brim with catastrophic detonating and compounding lights, the Cascade of lights deteriorates his mental state, as well as his temporal dissonance, allowing Melody to recreate something perfect. A trap.
  9. Melody hummed a tune. She didn't need Melody. She needed Awaken. Her past self, driven by need and care. She immediately attuned the Stellar Circle, a way and symbolism. Green, Red, and Blue triangles flooded the skies, forming the distinct insignia. Generating red light, she held out a hand towards Jar man in a way that demanded the blade back.
  10. She held the sword in her hand, with it's blueflame blade gleaming in the darkness. A true Stellarknight Test. She thrust it into Jar Man's side, utilizing teal light at the same time to enhance her mind.
  11. She spoke softly, "I cannot change who I am, but I can change who I will be. You don't need to make me regret my past. I do that already." She stood up straight, grabbing the blue blade that her past self had left for a challenge. "Fight me, then. I will prove it."
  12. She didn't regret a single moment. Every step had been one she would make, even now. Perhaps that scared her even more. From her initial conflict with the guild of thieves, her battle against Chloral and Zander, the falselings, how she had become the Destined after, her time on Mauve, her influence on the events of the Congregation, and the Moths, and the world forge, to eventually the next Samsara. Every step was calculated. She would still take the exact same path. She didn't become worse, she just hadn't become better.
  13. She cried inwardly and wished for it to stop, feeling simply blurs as she killed herself over and over again.
  14. She cried on the inside, but she understood their pain. That was, after all, the reason why she took the Oath not to harm a single person.
  15. Saffron looks up, having been silent this entire time. "Ryn, you were a coward. Don't deny it. Persistence is not courage, it is stubbornness."
  16. It wasn't bad to revisit the memory, but it was the name in which she did it that hurt her. The crown in which she held. The power she had. How she truly was sorry. It didn't make it better, but it at least made it understandable
  17. "Now now now, let's all be nice." Aeo said.
  18. Melody severs her anchor, sending her back to the timeless place. @Canada Lover
  19. And maybe not even, Scarlet thought. "Somethings been ticking me off. How will people continue to trust Karis? The spiked must be having a day off with this."
  20. Melody opened her hand, revealing prismatic dust. "This is why. This is what contaminated our water system, and it's been causing memory problems when ingested."
  21. I made elan lose
  22. "Okay. Then let me try." Melody concentrated on the task at hand. A orange trail of light pathed around her, and touched Aranis' hand. Instantly, memories sprang to life that Melody could see. Closing her eyes, she examined the problem farther, ignoring both her own memories screaming to be remembered and his memories, ever to be discovered. "...memory blockage." She muttered, drawing on a separate stream of teal light to steel herself. She refrained from looking at all his memories. That wasn't the point here, since in order to fix the problem as a whole, the smaller battlefields would have to be skipped. She traced the string of light around carefully, establishing a connection between the lights and the memories. Pushing through the challenges of the mind that Aranis had, she eventually made it to where the actual crystal was. She ripped it out with a bit of Red light, making the shards appear as fine dust that landed in her hand. Closing her hand, she opened her eyes, satisfied with her work. "That should work," she finally administered, "Tell me if it doesn't."
  23. "Did you drink the water? Or any liquids for that matter?" Melody asked, "I can help with memory retention, yes, but it is much easier if I know the cause."
  24. I hope you can find happiness in This Song, which is one of my personal favorites (This one is just as good but unfortunately shorter)
