btw do you like these posted in the morning (12:30p ET) or do you want them posted later in the day? Any preference?
  6. my apologies. I was unaware they were able to access my bank account through the posts I make on the shard.
  7. laws are defined by exceptions, axioms are defined by constance
  8. well it's much easier to solve from the forward direction, which is to know me in real life and figure out my online stuff compared to trying to start with my online stuff to figure out who I am in real life.
  9. I do still have that twisted ruleset... I think that was actually the first one I ever made would be fun to give it a spin and see how it turns out Not sure if I'm able to GM though... lots on my plate at the moment, so I'm hesitant to pick up another thing
  10. people can stalk me yes, but if they're starting from the back end online here they'd have it in for them. People can do me, so then what? I have nothing to hide here! I'm practically open about where I am in the world and what I do. It's not like people would get much leverage out of threatening to dox me either. And what would someone on the internet want me to do for them in real life? All of our data is already being sold I don't think it's that deep. I guess identity theft is something they could do that would matter but realistically if the shard is going to be the difference between them being able to steal my identity or not they're going to run into a problem
  11. do I point out the conjugation error reminds me, I need to continue writing my French literature piece. Currently involves a war on ants, a black hole, and juice boxes. I mean what are people going to do with the information of where I am?
  12. la rêve but yeah what do you plan to do during your gap year? Are you going to try to get into some new hobby? Anything exciting?
  13. I digress my point is that it may not seem like Canada is a great country to live in especially given how bad it can look on a superficial level but then you also have to consider that it's kinda just preferable to a lot of other places
  14. I could find it if I cared being honest I have a lot of experience with users with different timezones online Not all of us say that we "just woke up" at the same time consistently or that we "just ate dinner" or the like
  15. do you know that this would be midnight in Central European? timezones don't line up... I'd guess probably cst, mst or est based on activity
  16. there's a lot of benefits to living in canada compared to other places. And besides, it's not necessarily easy to live in many places nowadays. I feel safe in Canada. I don't know if I can say the same about other places (including the US). A lot of people hate on trades but the reality is that trades is very respectable work. If you're somewhat interested in trades even having a year of work experience will still be massively helpful in the future when you look for other jobs
  17. Red seal requires like, 10,000 hours of work though, and it's internationally recognized. It's something you spend a significant portion of your life working towards the job market is kinda horrible in Canada altogether if I'm being honest but yes not having a post secondary makes the odds much worse
  18. it is always a good challenge to broaden your scope

  20. A polish friend with a knack for drawing Gregor Samsa

  22. my theorem states that one should never ask why, only how technically it's a joint theorem with another person and thus it is named after both of us
  23. Now that I've thought about it: There are quite a few symbols that I hold dear to me, but I'd say that the closest thing to a religion thingy is... a pronoun pin. I used to wear it all the time and it was really important because it reminded myself that "This is Me" even when I couldn't be who I wanted to be. I kept it in my pocket throughout the day even when I had to hide my trans-ness, because it helped me remind myself that I was still me, regardless of if I had to hide that me from others
