    IT was a blade. Nothing more, nothing less.

    But it was still a blade. A very important blade, in a sense.

    It did not want. It did not need. It just... Felt.

    It felt uncertain somehow It also liked Rose.

    The blade gave a whisper of one word: understand

    The blade wanted to give Rose a hug, but couldn't. The blade started to feel heavier in Cricket's Hand

    The blade seemed to cling onto cricket. It did not want to be abandoned again.

    The plotblade did not like being called Useless. It emitted a slight feeling of frustration at that comment.

    It was hard to tell if it was a Narrator thing, but it would certainly be difficult to tell what Narrator would possibly want their blade to be fluffy and cuddly.

    The blade was incredibly soft. In fact, it wanted to be cuddly.

    The blade felt soft. Soft. A curious word to use to describe a sword.

    The blade is still in the ground.

    A dark inky mass appeared before the group. It formed into a person, carrying a Plotblade. The ink thing stabbed the blade into the ground, and then as quickly as it had appeared, it vanished.

    The rift closed just like that, and its intense gaze was gone in a second.

    A gash started to open in the sky. It emitted fiery orange light in intense amounts, and its light felt like it would burn off anyone's skin

    . Desolation vanished. He had taken one blade, a relatively small amount compared to the endless greed that had flooded through Rebus. The entire foundation shook, and something started to rise. All throughout TLT, tremors could be felt. Something was going to shake the thread like never before.

    Desolation wiped away some dust from a tablet. He read the words out: "Those who take away elements of the plot from others will have the Story catch up to them eventually." Beneath the tablet was a small series of scratches, which formed words: "The more you take, the stronger He becomes. Take too many, and he will come. Following you from place to place, the last thing you see will be his face. A storm of fury, a cloud of hate. Do not dare to defy Fate." He eyes the missing blades on the racks. "I think there was a reason why they put them here."

    Desolation walked around in the room. It was perfectly cubical, and there were shelves like a library- but only for Plotblades. Most had a description, but many were missing. Included amongst these were Side Quest, Hero Journey, Fables. But Desolation found one Plotblade that caught his interest. One that caught the idea of TLT as a whole He quietly picked up the blade and dissolved it into his essence, and then rejoined Rebus. The Plotblade he took is called "Nonsense". I think it fits in fairly well.

    Desolation noted his presence. "So many Plotblades, hidden away in this place. Why?"

    "No. But I thank you for leading me here. All this Narration, free for the taking." Desolation walked out of the chamber and through the walls. If Rebus could see him, he would be looking at the Plotblade Treasury. "There are more than just simple truths to find in here."

    "That's what they want you to think. We're in 1984 by George Orwell." Desolation sighed. "I'm not going to convince you of anything, am I?"

    "You will transcend the thread." Desolation's black liquid engulfed the entire room. "I sense your Author's influence. Now, it is cut off. Do what is best for you, not your author." Think from the Characters POV "Give your Narration up, and join the Free Characters who live happily beyond."

    "Narration," Desolation said, "Is a gift. It is the gift of ability, but not of choice. By taking up narration, you lose your identity. You become nothing more than bold letters on a silly Brandon Sanderson fan site." "Those are not your powers, Rebus. Those belong to the Free Author, the one that was created with all Narration made and all Narration to be. And now, it's time to return it."

    "Inklings have been around since before the dawn of Narration." Desolation answered his quip. "They made themselves an author- one that would be able to let them do what they actually wanted." Desolation pointed to the mold in the ground. "I do not know where the tale continues, but I do know they were successful."
