  1. Discontinuities. Plot holes. Things that don't make sense. Moment says, and then after a pause, It takes a lot more than most people expect to make a Plotblade. Many are forged through deeply integrated plot events, or are too deeply invested in plot events to be irrelevant. Those that do not fall under either category lose their purpose and with that, their stability.
  2. The good ones do nothing. The bad ones... They cause problems. I suspect Rebus got them from Timu.com or some other, more local equivalent.
  3. You receive two million dollars, as well as the Nightwatcher's 2,539,817.91 euro debt to pay off, with 255% Interest, compounded hourly. I wish for triple angle identities to not exist.
  4. Fakes. Duplicates. Sedalbtolpes. Or even, hear me out, common swords. Moment said to her.
  5. What Plotblade comes for free? What, did you think that Plotblades were a common occurrence? Moment hissed. The blade was undeniably soft.
  6. What they think is a Plotblade, Moment communicated to Cricket and (by extension) everyone else, Is actually a severe case of Confirmation bias.
  7. The blade shifted in shape, as Moment took on a more reactive form.
  8. It could, indeed, connect to others. Moment was like that.
  9. Moment was glowing. Shining with regrets.
  10. Moment felt that as well. But Moment could not undo the feelings of regret, only feel them as well.
  11. That is acceptable. It is better than not feeling enough.
  12. He cannot feel. He cannot use me as he would like. So he abandoned me. Moment explained.
  13. Moment spoke to him. If it goes wrong... I will be there. I will be there to protect.
  14. Moment could theoretically take the shape of that blade *if* Rose held it, especially if there's a large sense of Longing.
  15. YOU will see. Moment paused. But do not take another Plotblade. They cannot protect you. They will bring eternal turmoil to those who bear them.
  16. . I carry powers that no other Plotblade will hold. I can bring your strongest moments into life.
  17. I will do that. Moment said to him. Do not take a Plotblade from that man.
  18. I would not recommend taking multiple Plotblades, Moment said, these things have a cost.
  19. Moment was glad Cricket understood. It was a difficult concept to grasp.
  20. The blade wasn't exactly able to describe itself in a word, but the word "Moment" felt right. It was closest to the idea that emotions enhance a story. The plotblade, of course, despised the other, weaker, faker, less real Plotblades that Rebus held.
  21. IT was a blade. Nothing more, nothing less.
  22. But it was still a blade. A very important blade, in a sense.
