On the contrary, we have *every* reason to think about elim strats this early in the game. We want to figure out who they are, and also to survive, and one of the ways of doing that is trying to figure out what their next move is

Oddly enough, I was actually just thinking the same thing... it honestly doesn't seem to make much sense at all for TLR to align themselves with the villagers, because they have no way of proving they're on your side. With the elims, they do. Also, I'm pretty sure telling the group elim strats makes Mist *less* suspicious, not more, Illwei. Anyone can theorize what the elims would do, whereas the elims are unlikely to share their thinking too much in the thread.

*dies with laughter* Sedra was leaning against the wall of the alley, concealed in shadow and dusted with ash, when she saw Connie walking by. It was *definitely* Connie, though the tattoos had thrown her off for a moment. What was she doing here??? Hadn't they killed her along with all the other hopefuls back on Roshar? Sedra hesitated, unsure whether to follow. Eventually she decided against it, and went back to watching the people passing by. Whatever Connie was doing here, it had nothing to do with Sedra's mission. It wasn't her concern.

Can we please let bygones be bygones? No need to dwell on previous games. I promise I'm 100% an obligator this round. Edit: Also I *do* think we need the Canton of Inquisition. I was just amused by the contradictions in your post, that's all. Edit (again): oof I'm so bad at wording things... when I say "we", unlike Gears, I mean the villagers. I'm sure Canton of Inquistion is useful for elims too, but I'm primarily thinking of us here.

Technically, it's also possible that they're nothing at all; if a member of the Canton of Inquisition guesses right as to who's submitting the elim kills (which is clearly unlikely but could still happen), then the person that would have been killed would survive. That aside, you're still correct that a Mistborn kill could be very useful in that scenario. EDIT: Ignore all of that I thought we were talking about elim kills not lynches oof

I know we're not supposed to RP on the thread but I couldn't resist lol I promise I'll just keep it to this one post (and a death RP if I die). Rinala--no, it was Sedra now--fingered the temporary tattoos that encircled her eyes and wondered how she was ever going to get herself out of this mess. The Ghostbloods had ordered her on this mission, and the Diagram hadn't tried to stop her, so she'd agreed. Hah. "Agreed." As if she'd had a choice... And now she was stuck on a different planet, one where there was ash instead of storms and where her light-blue eyes apparently didn't mean anything. The system of rule here was so odd, particularly the idea of needing to disfigure oneself to serve justice. When her recruiter had told her about the mission, he'd said that "we don't normally send newbies off-world, but we have need of your specific talents"--by which she assumed he meant her ability to learn new languages incredibly quickly, and speak them without an accent--"and you've shown that you have some sense. Don't screw this up." So here she was, trying to influence the politics in a completely foreign place that, a month ago, she hadn't known existed. And she had to succeed. Perhaps the Ghostbloods would be lenient with a normal member who failed, but Sedra was already treated with suspicion due to her other affiliations. If she died it wouldn't matter, so she could live with that. Well, not really, of course. But she could accept it. If she survived but couldn't tip the balance of power in their favor... well, that would be worse. Much worse. She fingered the pouch of blackbane in her pocket and told herself it wouldn't come to that. Edits because of grammar lol

If this is what the sign-ups thread is like, I'm not sure I want to see what will happen when we start discussing lynches....

Technically Rinala is now part of both the Diagram and the Ghostbloods. (the book mentions both the Diagram and the Ghostbloods allowing you to pursue your own agenda between missions, so it seems feasible for her to be a part of both.)

Well, I mean, in Sedra/Rinala's case she won't actually have eye-spikes even if she is an inquisitor? If that's all right? She'll just be aligned with them, as per the Ghostblood's instructions.

I'm hoping that Rinala/Sedra/[redacted] (her real name which I never intend to reveal to anyone, though I have decided on it) will survive long enough for me to actually develop her into a character. I mean, so far I know she's part of both the Diagram and the Ghostbloods, which is interesting lol also since she's on Scadrial I guess that kind of makes her a worldhopper too?

Pretty much yeah... Hey, how long does it usually take for a new game to be posted? -

At least he was Recommended so even if he'd been saved (which would have led to you trusting him) he still wouldn't have been *too* much of a threat. Not individually, that is. -

lol it certainly would have made the game last longer if you'd saved Ash... well, by a day anyway.
