  1. I... think you guys are both saying the same thing? The reasons Ash would be stolen from would be A. he's vil and an elim stole from him or B. a villager had a strong suspicion of him. Or C. the Thief felt like acting unpredictably, or thought Ash would take a Bribe? idk
  2. I mean, the other possibility is that the Thief is one of our resident chaotic neutrals (which, like, there are a fair number of in this game) and decided to be random? idk lol
  3. Apart from some murder and stealing and such. But who cares about that?
  4. who said anything about aluminum? You were asking for tinfoil, after all!
  5. I mean. Tinfoil is made of aluminum so idk if they would be all that grateful XD Edit: I mean. I didn't start with that Specialization. I've kinda been assuming that none of the Specializations people started with overlapped with the Books in the Camp Supply, though now that I think about it I'm not sure why I assumed that.
  6. sighhhh Illwei we don't need another QF49 But do you want me to stop referencing tinfoil? I mean, if I did that now it would probably make me look even more sus... but if I keep referencing it then you'll think I'm still overemphasizing... I can't win this can I
  7. I like my tinfoil okay this is kind of the same thing
  8. Ah. Right. That... makes sense. Though I would still say it's NAI for a villager to take the Book just to keep elims from having it. After all, we're allowed to choose not to use our Specializations if we want to. Edit: I phrased that poorly XD I would say it's NAI because a villager might take the book just to keep the elims from having it.
  9. Right, that makes sense. I was kind of assuming that one of Mist or Archer was the Thief until Ash claimed someone stole from him--so I see where you're coming from there. We won't see the effects of the Acid until next Night, since you have to use it during the Day for it to work (for some reason : P). But yes, I will keep you posted, and I assume TJ will too. Right, I'd honestly Spring-Powered Crabs are pretty much NAI, since they're useful for both sides. Not necessarily : P much as I love the designation of "very village", I must point out that it would benefit the elims to keep control of the Lanterns out of village hands. That way if they need to they can kill any vil Lantern holders and then lie about the amount of Defense to escape scrutiny (later on in the game, that is). Again, information benefits both sides so I'd say Making is probably NAI. I mean. Roleblocking is also useful to the village, if the RBer is good at guessing who the elims are. lol I have no idea how to read Alvron either which I suspect is the point
  10. Hmmmm actually that's not a bad point. Of course, Ash is also claiming to not have any Chalk right now, so idk how that fits with it.
  11. I'd point out that if Ash is telling the truth about his Chalk being stolen, anyone who took stuff from the Supply can't be the Thief (well, not unless someone started with a Specialization in Revocation). The Thief can't draw Lines, so having a Book would not be particularly useful to them.
  12. Right, I was thinking that too.
  13. *rubs eyes* oh. right. this is what I get for trying to catch up on the game two minutes after getting up
  14. Read my earlier post--the fifth Piece of Chalk is from Dannex, who died without using his. When people die their Items go back into the Camp Supply.
  15. I don't know!!! Ash brought it up first XD I know that : P but his earlier posts feeling elim to me was the reason I voted him then, and his last couple of posts feeling extremely village to me seemed reason enough to unvote him. Bucket of Acid affects Defense, not Chalkling Strength.
  16. Well, Theif!you would want the Shadowblaze because it counts twice for the Valuable Item count. Thus furthering your win-con.
  17. So the question is... was it the Thief? Or someone who started with Specialization in Line of Revocation? (math here: 7 Chalk originally - 3 Chalk taken + 1 Chalk added because Dannex died = 5 Chalk, which is what's in the Supply. Normal Line of Revocation being used would send your Chalk to the Supply)
  18. ...no there wasn't. Check the votes again.
  19. Was it? So TJ and I both have Lanterns. I don't know about him, but I'll be announcing what the Defense was each Night (and I guess TJ can confirm it).
  20. Yeah I don't even know how that makes me look... given that I was the one who spearheaded the Matrim exe in the first place. Actually I guess it makes me look more sus if Dannex flips elim : P but I hope he does anyway
  21. I... I... Ahhhhh why am I doing this Matrim Dannex because... of... this: I... this... reads so village to me. If this is a clever ploy by Matrim then good for you I've been thoroughly tricked XD I'd expect an elim to use the chalk to remove a vote, and at least survive for a cycle--it benefits them to get a mix, even if it doesn't directly harm them to lose one of their own right now since the Defense won't lower. (Edit: to more thoroughly explain my thoughts, I'd add that an elim also wouldn't want the Chalk to go to the Supply, as it's one more opportunity for the village to defend) @Matrim's Dice are you using the Bucket of Acid? You have to use it during the Day for it to work, apparently : P
  22. shhhh you're getting a haircut, remember?
  23. I mean. On the one hand you're right, now that I think about it. But on the other hand I definitely wouldn't blame him for not wanting to talk too much after that whole mess in QF50 which I was at least part responsible for
