Couldn't neither one wanting to vote the other suggest that they're both elim? I mean, I can see it as them being both village, too, but I don't think it's a reason to back off of either of them.

Er... you have me voting on both Illwei and Striker lol (I'm so glad I'm not the only one getting VCs wrong tho ) The TLR game is probably not a good example, though, because Gears was a mechanically likely suspect from basically the start, so he had to be careful what he said. He was also elim in QF49 if you want to go back and read another elim game of his.

I realized that as soon as I hit the submit button : P my brain was like "Illwei's on Araris right now." and then my brain was like "wait but Araris isn't in this game." And then I was like "wait, then who's Illwei on right now?" TJ

I blame this on the fact that the QF, which I'm in, started right as C1 ended. So I'm now juggling two games instead of one (as are a bunch of the other players in this game : P)

Yeah, actually I was thinking that. It seems like sort of an obvious thing to do, except that I for one didn't realize the entire tally would be revealed--I thought only the winner's vote count would be revealed. So if e!TJ and e!Reading voted on each other to seem less... idk even know what, they might have thought that it wouldn't really be noticed. But that's probably tinfoil XD

TJ also voted for Reading, and Reading for TJ. Unless they're elims and lying about that but why would they do that XD I hadn't sat down and written everything out, so I wasn't sure who the other person to vote for me was : P

Okay yeah so Ash feels vil to me from this and I don't want him to die : P (my reasoning is definitely not just "wouldn't elim!Ash self-pres"? nope. if anyone says it is I will deny it). So Striker. I guess. I... ahhhh this is hard but I don't think starting new trains this far into the cycle is going to either help or work very well, so... yeah.

...so why are you voting Gears? Why not me or TJ or Reading (or Books)? if you don't trust us? (edit: genuine question; not specifically "meant to cast shade" or whatever, I'm just curious as to the reasons)

@Illwei you've definitely been on since I asked about this, I've given you plenty of opportunity to respond, and have gotten nothing. So. Last cycle, you responded to my vote on Gears by saying: So, you weren't a fan of my voting Gears, or at least so it seemed. It was a joke vote, so I get it. But now, you're voting Gears? Why? Also, last cycle, in response to Matrim voting Books and then saying: you said: So... you wanted to vote Books? Before? Do you not want to now, when they've actually become an option for the exe? Basically, there seems to be some discontinuity in your thought process between last cycle and this cycle. Mind explaining?

This is something I'd actually noticed, and intended to point out but forgot: wouldn't it make more sense for elim!Gears to be defending me and Illwei if one of us (presumably Illwei, because otherwise he wouldn't have had to) is his teammate? Why do you assume that we're all village if Gears is elim? ( @StrikerEZ ) Edit: wait why did I @ Striker? XD I mean to @TJ Shade Right, I guess I should have made this clear but this was my exact reaction as well; Ash being NAI is... NAI XD (Edit: rereading this I realized it's not exactly clear what I meant; I voted Ash for the Reading vote, and while the NAI thing is... I guess somewhat notable, in general, it's also pretty much normal for Ash.) It's not my fault that you keep saying things that either make sense, or that I was thinking in a kind of amorphous way but hadn't put into words yet! That's on you

Well that's why we can afford to make platters out of it, obviously XD Also, out of curiosity, I'm gonna... Illwei. My read of her is village but my gut keeps shouting at me that I'm wrong and it's very confusing. So I'd like to look into that some more (and I suspect that looking back at C1 will be biased in favor of my gut reaction, since stuff in C1 convinced me she was elim the first time around, so I won't do that just yet). Note that in spite of being in that boat I've done plenty of AI things, voted (probably way too) frequently, done analysis, and managed to force myself to write RP, somehow... Well, that last one is neither here nor there, but still. It's different. Maybe we're not in the same boat, idk Edit: Gah Ash's response makes me feel uneasy about my vote on him though... why does everyone I vote on have to respond so reasonably? Can't the elims just hand themselves to us on a silver platter or something? smh

Okay Ashbringer I've been feeling less and less certain about my Striker vote (which does not surprise me at all, since I placed it less than a half-hour after I got up), and Stick has some good points. Ash does, in fact, seem to be avoiding taking stances on anything, and that Reading vote (especially the retroactive justification for it) is odd. Edit: Striker why do I always forget to retract : P

Books. They were one of the three other people on Dannex (actually the one to start the Dannex train) and they're the only one who I'm not actually reading slightly village (the others are you and TJ). Also, apparently they're giving off elim vibes to those who remember their previous elim games (I don't, died early in most of 'em).

I voted for myself. Also @TJ Shade it turns out my plan would have worked, because apparently we learn the number of votes on everyone, not just the winner. So the elims couldn't have lied about who they voted because the numbers wouldn't match up. Wish I'd know that earlier... Who else voted for me?
