  1. I, too, am a very humanoid human with a physical body made of organic matter. It is extremely pleasing to meet humans as human as I.
  2. How do you know around how many people Matrim read incorrectly? I would understand knowing a few reads for certain, but knowing the approximate percentage of people who Matrim read incorrectly makes me a bit suspicious that you could be an elim, since they know who's on the elim team. On the other hand, this would be such a big slip that I doubt an elim would do it, so I'm not really that suspicious of you. Either way, I'm going to vote for you until they explain why you said this and how you know. Somebody.
  3. Sorry if I was unclear. What I meant was that I don't really have a read on you so I'm not really opposed to lynching you, even though I'm not really in favor of it either. (edit: wow. I said really a lot) I'm going to vote on Lotus even though it probably won't make a difference this cycle. I've been reading Lotus as suspicious for a while because they've been consistently vague and haven't really added anything or shared any insights or analysis.
  4. I haven't really been paying much attention this cycle because I've been very busy with finals stuff, so I'm not really sure about which of the 2 current top lynches (Fura or Connie) I feel more suspicious of. I trust Matrim, so I guess I won't vote for Connie. I guess I'd be fine with a Fura lynch, since even though I'm not really reading them as elim, I'm not reading them as village either and I trust that people who are more experienced and/or better at reading people than me are better at picking up on subtle clues than I am. I might also be willing to join a Ventyl lynch since that vote manipulation was pretty suspicious, but it was sort-of confirmed that Kaladin didn't do the vote removal on Ventyl, which decreases my suspicions of them. I'll see what state the vote is in when I come back closer to the end of the cycle and then decide who I want to vote for.
  5. Brandon Sranderson stepped up to dye another Nalthis book.
  6. It's because of the unegalitarian culture. From the prose version: Although women are technically not prohibited from joining a Profession, they traditionally pretty much just admit men, and the Diem was probably on the more conservative and traditionalist end of the Professions because they depended on tradition in order to stay powerful.
  7. "I'll fix my sunboat's hot-air-balloon attachment and the broken wing so that we can use it to scout out the area better, though it'll take a while" Erenshi says.
  8. (mild Dawnshard spoilers)
  9. Lé fashionable, yet mostly undead Ookla belly flopped under its inelegant yet elegant book purchase.
  10. And either way, after that point the Adhesion user would have had the chance to cancel their action, so I think that Quinn is probably right about the vote-manip being for the purpose of roleclaim confirmation.
  11. Tsezn watched the voting in equal parts awe, confusion, and frustration. They had known that Shinovar's culture was as strange as its landscape, but had not expected this. Was there some sort of tradition here about ties and resolving them through covert Surgebinding? Well, at least it meant that they'd had the opportunity to take notes on two of the Honorblades before they were whisked away to be given to random people. What was it with this place and randomness? I'm going to vote against this and get others to vote against it too just so that we can have a tie on it for the irony.
  12. There is a blade with Adhesion: Ishar's blade. Both Ishar's blade & Kaladin's Adhesion were used this round. Edit: Ninja'd again
  13. Since the votes on the top 3 people are 3-2-2, this lynch is especially vulnerable to vote manipulation, and we know that the elims have at least 1 (2 if they got Kalak's blade) source of vote manipulation, so voting is especially important now.
  14. Only 12 out of 22 people have voted so far and there are around one and a half hours left until the cycle ends. The greatest number of people voting on one person is 3, so the elims could easily control this lynch. @Gears @Ookla the Hypodecadal @Ookla the Grammatical @Ookla who goes DORIYAH!! @eltruT @Ookla the Watcher @The Windrunner Supreme @Ookla the Sprinkle @Alvron @Eternum Please vote or explain why you aren't voting. Overall, which people seem most suspicious to you and why?
  15. I agree too. The best example would be Venli. At the beginning, she was definitely unworthy of a Radiant bond. However, she grew over time and is becoming a better person. While some people might fit a particular Radiant order very well from the beginning, such as Kaladin, others (I would say probably a majority of Radiants overall) grow into it over time.
  16. I'm going to vote Experience because his posts have seemed vague and strange (in a slightly elim-y way) to me. I haven't been as active this cycle as in the previous cycle because I've been very busy with school for the past 2 days, but hopefully I'll be able to reread day 1 & this day so far and give my analysis of a bunch of people before rollover.
  17. No. I'm a Truthwatcher. TPBM would make lots of Breath puns if they were an Awakener.
