"I don't know, I didn't think that I would need it. Give me two seconds." Jane got up and walked to the building's door before returning. "It seems to be slightly cloudy out."
-
"If that's the case, then I guess all we can do is wait for the guard to come back."
-
Pior looked at Aerith. "I'm thinking about taking up the whole no drinking thing; I always forget how bad the mornings are."
-
"Make sure you know your direction Ms Chorale, being lost ain't much fun."
-
"I'll be very interested to see you manage that after Kade gets here. I guess my choice pivots on one thing, what are your goals?"
-
"I'm sure you could be, but for how long, and how much would it cost me?"
-
Jane adopted a sarcastic tone. "Accusing me of being misleading, and here I thought that we were becoming fast friends." Jane became serious. "I think that it's best to leave you like this for the moment; you might be useful later. Besides, Vulles likes having you in the state of not being dead; I don't think that she would like it if I changed that."
-
Jane rolled her eyes before taking a seat near the cell door. "None of you are of any help."
-
"It's just that you are a wild card, an unknown, you know? I know quite a few people who don't like wild cards, and I'm wondering if they would appreciate me doing them a service by eliminating this wild card. What would you do if you had something that had the possibility to screw over a good friend of yours, but you didn't know for sure? I'm asking for a friend again."
-
Jane shook her head. "To think that you were once so easy to read. The next question that I have to deal with is how should I deal with you." Let her go. Jane was taken aback. Absolutely not, there is no way that could end well for anyone involved, especially us. Just think, we could let her out, and then say it was an accident. Then we can hunt her down, imagine how impressed he would be if we did hunt her down. Jane let out an audible sigh. Great, we would have fixed a problem that we had created. They don't have to know that part, just that we captured her. End of discussion, we are not freeing her, period. "Where do you think that your companion is heading now that he is free; I'm asking for a friend."
-
"Would that be targeting Kade, or the Amal movement in general?" Pior was late getting with Aerith, but he was prepared for a large fight.

Welcome aboard! How are you doing this fine day?

"An old soldier? Now that is intriguing. Out of curiosity, what would you do if you were to escape?"
-
"Well then Chorale, I'm not one to start a conversation with politics, but I'll make an exception. Why on Crystel were you imprisoned during the coup?"
-
"Excellent to meet you Vivace, call me Jane. Now, shall we talk about the weather, or would you rather we cut to more important matters."
-
Jane pocketed the keys that the guard left behind. "I'd love to, but the prison guard took the keys with him. Perhaps we should start with names?"
-
Jane tried to peek into the cell. "It appears that it's just us two. Perhaps we should get acquainted?"

Jane moved swiftly through the Amal settlement. Fortunately, Rala had told Jane what she needed to know, and now she could check things out for herself. Now, she had to double check the information that she had received, because faulty information was no good to him. She darted swiftly from one house to the next until her destination came in view. The building they used as a prison was unassuming at first glance, but it was easily the most secure building in the entire settlement upon closer examination. She walked in to find the guard looking rather bored as he worked his shift, he looked up as Jane entered. Jane smiled. "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while." The guard returned Jane's smile. "Aye, I thought you were working abroad." "I am, technically speaking. Although right now I figured that it was better to show my allegiance to Kade. Would hate to be a traitor you know." "Nothing wrong with that, but what brings you here? If I recall, Kade has been busy literally everywhere but here." "I wanted to see him for myself. I thought he was invincible you know, and now that he has been rather quickly and quietly taken care of, I wanted to check to make sure that this is all true." "I suppose that makes sense, although I'm not really supposed to let anyone in there, you know?" "I just want to see him, see what he looks like, see him like I never thought I would." The guard pondered this for a while, then shook his head. "I suppose that a quick look couldn't hurt." "Thank you so much, You have no idea how much this means to me." "I can get where you're coming from, I myself thought that he would put up more of a fight." The guard turned and led Jane down to the prison cell. As the two walked down the hall that led to the cell that held Concerto, the guard stopped abruptly; Jane tried to peak around him until she saw why he had stopped. The door to Concerto's cell stood wide open, and there was a distinct lack of a prisoner in it. The guard only stood there in shock. Jane looked over the scene and saw that the second cell that presumably held Chorale was still closed. The guard started stammering. "I-I-I don't- I-he was just here." "Don't talk to me about it, check on the other prisoner." The guard ran over to the closed cell and looked inside before he ran past Jane, yelling at her as he ran out the door. "Watch the prisoner, I need to tell Kade now!" Jane watched as the guard ran out of the door, she then smiled as Vulles became concerned. There's no way that it's that easy. Who am I to turn down a blessing from the Mother? Jane made her way towards the closed cell; it'd be a crime to waste such a perfect opportunity to talk with such an important individual. She looked inside the cell. @Condensation

Bandar left the note with the Innkeeper after his short talk with him. He had everything he needed, so he made his way back to Red and her little crew. Time to see how much he would get paid. @Aspiring Writer -

Ros picked up the smallest sphere before he stared at it intently. Nothing happened.
