  1. Ros rubbed his forehead before apparently talking to himself. "I should have listened more."
  2. "I don't . . . uh, how?"
  3. Ros shook his head. "Those sound familiar, but I . . . I don't know what that means."
  4. "I apologize la-, Crescendo, but she doesn't like you. Anything that I've tried to do to convince her otherwise hasn't worked."
  5. Ros nodded. As he did so, a woman that was surrounded with an aura of white and blue light showed herself to Crescendo. She stood regal and well dressed as if she were Alethi royalty. Her presence was imposing despite being only five inches tall. She looked towards Crescendo, and then gave a suspicious look before hiding herself from Crescendo once more. Ros stilled looked where the spren appeared. "May I?" Ros nodded. "She calls herself Netollyn la-, Crescendo."
  6. "I trust her." Ros then tilted his head, as if he were listening. He then bowed his head slightly as if he was embarrassed. "She's, well, she's been friendly and nice to me so far. If anyone, then her."
  7. Ros looked intently at a certain spot to his left. "She's . . . well, I think that it would be best if she showed herself. Although I'm not sure if she agrees la-, Crescendo."
  8. Ros looked off to his left. "Yes?"
  9. Ros looked at the gathered training equipment with an expression of confusion. "I'm sorry to disappoint you Brightness, but I don't believe that I have any powers. At the very least, I have not experienced any sort of mystical power before."
  10. Ros looked up, first at Sebarial, then at Crescendo. "Thank you Brightness. Hello again la-, Crescendo."
  11. Ros flinched and looked down at the floor. "I apologize for my tardiness your Brightness. I shall not let it happen again."
  12. Ros looked up from what he was doing in his room to look outside. He was shocked at what time it was, causing him to fall out of his chair. He quickly made himself look presentable before rushing our of his room and down the stairs.
  13. Before Bandar left the Inn with his belongings, he stopped and wrote something on a piece of paper and approached the Innkeeper.
  14. Bandar ran off to his latest stash to gather his weapons. It had been a while since he had worked for a Crystal Merchant, and he could only hope that it would be as satisfying as he remembered from the past. Bandar ran to the Inn that he had been at previously, then went around back to gather his things from his quickly made stash. He bundled all of his equipment so that it would be easier to carry, and then he made his way back to where he left Red.
  15. Kuno nodded as Borodin walked off. He then looked toward Catorphia. "What a nice fellow. I know that we don't want to be late, but I assumed that if I talked as I walked, I wouldn't get too far behind." Kuno walked on towards an average building, one that looked no different from those that stood beside it. He walked up to the front door, and then he simply knocked on the door, and then he waited. After a while, he knocked once more before the door opened. Kuno walked in to find a short man sitting on an armchair, watching the fire. Kuno nodded to him as he took a seat. "Well met Arminio, how goes?" The only response were thoughts that came to Kuno's mind, they obviously weren't his. No time for any small talk sir, we have important business. Kuno frowned. "How much could have possibly happened while I was working here?" More than you know. To sum it all up, Concerto is out of the picture, his replacement is who was suspected if such a thing happened, and mobilization has been ramped up. "From controlled to relative chaos, it seems we might be getting busy soon. It's fortunate that I was successful here." Might not be enough, there might never be enough. All I know is that they are preparing far faster than before. We also have been hearing whispers of something big coming, but it's difficult to get anything down as a fact. All we know is that whatever is coming will be an intimidating obstacle. Kuno furrowed his brow. "Too much is happening, first this Chorale comes, then Concerto is out of the picture at this moment. I need to know more, we need more information." It's you're call. "How much do we know of this new leader?" Name is Kade, very popular with his followers, no chance of getting him replaced with someone more . . . amiable. Has a tragic backstory that pushes him forward, a personal vendetta against humanity and such. I believe that an individual was mentioned, the Amal hunter if I recall. He has something big in the works, something that worries our informants. Kuno stroked his chin before looking directly at Arminio, who still watched the fire. "I need more information on this new leader and his actions before we take too many actions of our own. I need Ghost Division fully active, call up all of the reserves and move them into active duty." The thoughts developed a sense of concern. Would it be too much to call on the Ghosts? "I disagree, it's when we know nothing that we call on the best. For if we know that it's bad enough that we need the best, then we've already failed. Information is key." It is your will, so it is mine. "I also want all garrisons on the defense. Don't be too overt, but be prepared." Of course. "Then I need a conference, we need to be prepared." Is that all? Kuno smiled. "I still need the full report of course." Arminio looked at Kuno with the fire reflecting in his blue eyes. Very well Things were moving fast, but Kuno could live with that. This was what he was preparing for all along. If things wanted to escalate, then he would like to know how. After all, one couldn't work with or against something that he didn't know anything about. Yes, information was key, and Ghost Division couldn't fail to get it to him. Things had changed, but if he got the information, then he would adapt. All things considered, it was going relatively smoothly so far.
  16. Bandar gave an exaggerated bow to Red. "I guess that means I'll be back soon. Try not to get dead while I'm gone, it really tarnishes a resumé."
  17. Bandar gave Jack a smile. "As much as I love bonding time, I think that I can manage gathering my own equipment. That is, unless he wants to come."
  18. "I hope ya don't mind if I run off to gather my equipment, it'll only take a few moments."
  19. Bandar rubbed his hands together. "I can live with that. where do you want me boss?"
  20. Bandar raised an eyebrow. "So who exactly is the head honcho here, I guess it's more of who exactly is paying me?"
  21. Bandar nodded. "Nice to know how many squishies there are in a group. You have anything I should know about you, Jack, or should I be babysitting you constantly?"
  22. Bandar rolled his eyes. "Oh I see, don't mind me boss, I'm just tryin to do my job. Which, of course, would be easier if I knew the abilities of the guys who are paying me to keep them not dead. But you are, after all, the boss, and you, of course, know best."
  23. Bandar deftly caught the crystals. He chuckled. "Just so that you know boss, I don't like to use things for show. Of course, there are some exceptions. I'm very curious, what do you do Elene?"
  24. Bandar looked to his side. "Well, I think that the scimitar is a bit obvious, but other than that, there are several knives on me that are supposed to be hidden."
  25. "Yep, I can pick it up in a second. That's not accounting for what I got on me right now. What would a bodyguard be if he weren't armed?"
