You can do it! I only caught up last year and it didn’t even take me a year. I like eclairs myself. Actually, I like savory pastries better than sweet ones, so pot pies and meat pies and the like. Cookies!

Lighteyes, because it fits my actual eye color (blue).

Well, it seems like Quinn is not really as suspicious any more. They really read to as maybe being in the crossfire of either really bad luck or an elim scheme. It seems suspicious to me that somehow two different groups arrived at the same person to accuse of being role blocked, and then sent that accusation to the same person. That seems a little unlikely to me. Because of that, Ghander. They, if anyone, seem to be the one who coordinated that. I still read Fadran as village. It’s possible Ghander and Turtle are elims together, and Ghander tried to convince Fadran to go along in an effort to throw him in with Turtle if turtle got lynched.

I feel like, while the scope of your perception can impact how powerful or wide-ranging a Dawnshard’s effect is, I think amount of investiture is more important. My interpretation of this is that the investiture you hold executes the command, so the amount of investiture you hold impacts how powerful the effect is. The scope of your perception also influences it, I think, but to a lesser extent. Any random human with enough investiture could have-say-shattered the plains, but they could also destroy the entire Cosmere with enough investiture, even without the awareness of a shard. I think how shardic awareness plays in is that it effects your ability to direct the command to effectively do the exact thing you want. Think of it this way. If a human surgebinder with a ton of stormlight grabbed a dawnshard and said “shatter the plains”, the plains would just be shattered how the human vaguely intended. Meanwhile, if a Shard tried the same thing, they know the bigger picture. They can say “Shatter the plains”, knowing where every mineral deposit and fault line in the plains is, and have the scope of understanding to know how to direct the dawnshard more precisely. I think of it kind of like Rashek at the well of ascension. Whenever a human with a human’s scope of awareness uses that kind of power, they will mess things up and not do exactly what was intended. If a someone with the knowledge of a shard (or a bunch of religions’ histories) tries to do the same thing, however, they will understand how to more effectively get the outcome they want. To use awakening terms, they can better visualize the command.

Well, I finally had enough time to get a post in. Ok, so here’s my analysis so far: Ventyl: poked Aman cycle 1, which almost caused a lynch of Aman. Though, unless he was the canton of resource who removed a vote from Illwei, he would have no way to know his poke would go anywhere. TJ read one of his posts as a possible pocket of Books. I don’t read it as pocketing, though. Was suspicious of Dannex and agreed with books. Very slight elim. Aman: Had a possible pocket attempt on TJ, though I don’t read it as such. Also was the first vote on Illwei, but justifiably switched when Bearer started acting a little sus. I’m N/A on him. Somebody: Said D1 that he thought Aman and Illwei or Aman and TJ were elims together. This seems like fine logic based on my analysis of Aman above, though I’m not sure if he is correct in his suspicions. Mild village. Fadran: Not much of a read, here. If he was elim, I feel like he would be trying to leverage his status as new to be a little more accusatory without drawing suspicion. Slight village. Quinn: Wondered out loud whether the elims know if they were roleblocked or hit TLR. This reads to me like an elim asking a question they already know the answer to too try and seem like vil. Also advocated that TLR join the elims. Overall, her posts seem a little off to me. Mild elim. Dannex: Started the roleblock PM train. I’m generally pretty supportive of crazy plans, but this does seem like a way for an elim to muddy the waters a bit. Overall, though, I’m reading village. I’m not sure why an elim would propose that plan, knowing it would draw suspicion. N/A. I’m going to go with Quinn for now, but I could be convinced of Ventyl or Aman, too.

She-ra and the Princesses of Power
JesterLavorre replied to JesterLavorre's topic in Entertainment Discussion
There is!? Also, I was looking on the wiki because I thought I remembered Noelle had revealed Catra’s favorite number. I found this: I love that, in this scene, Adora is pressing a ton of different buttons on the control panel. So, if this really is Catra’s favorite number, there is more than one 6 on the keypad. Also, this is so cute (again, from the wiki): -
I’m not going to be able to be super active this cycle, unfortunately. However, I’m going to bed now and should be able to post some analysis when I get up.

Fantasy Authors' Guild
JesterLavorre replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Wow... It’s been awhile since I’ve thought about those books. I remember really liking the first book, but I don’t remember much of the other two. Wasn’t there, like, a prequel book or something? -
Both. But, if I had to choose, I'd choose sociology. Cadbury cream eggs. YES! If it sounds interesting to you. I would recommend starting with campaign 2, though. The production quality is a lot better, and campaign 1 starts in the middle of an ongoing campaign, so it's harder to get into.

Fantasy Authors' Guild
JesterLavorre replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
I will write all the time I'm technically lying, because I'm a huge procrastinator But I have to take this oath to join the guild, so... I will write all the time Or try to, anyways *waves hand* amen? I have sworn the ideal. Now I just have to get the book I'm working on to a point where I'm willing to share it here... -
There’s a critical role thread on the shard, if either of you want to join it. We mostly talk spoilers for the latest episodes, though, so you may want to wain until you’re caught up. I will join this game. Character name pending.

A “Life” Dawnshard and Awakening
JesterLavorre replied to JesterLavorre's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I still like “live” better than survive. Mainly because “survive” or “remain” seems a little too close to the shard preservation. Same goes for ruin and the command “destruction”. We don’t really know a lot about Dawnshards, though, so it’s definitely possible some stray toward shard intents. It just seems strange to me.- 7 replies

Maybe, Nohadon had the Unity dawnshard. Then, when Nohadon died, Honor and Odium both thought the dawnshard was “shattered”, or something. However, the dawnshard is still attached to Nohadon’s CS. Or maybe it’s attached to the entire cognitive perception of the Way of Kings book. If there is a Unity dawnshard, I think Honor thought it was inaccessible somehow. But, he was wrong. I like that the sleepless are scared of Dalinar because he is a radiant with a dawnshard.

OK, So I literally just finished reading and skimmed the first page of the Dawnshard spoiler board to make sure nobody had already posted this exact theory. If I missed it, sorry about that. Okay, major dawnshard spoilers: Anyway, that’s not really a thought out theory, just something I randomly thought of as I finished the book, and had to write down before I forgot it.
