  1. OK, so my thoughts are this: I’m still not 100% sure of Connie, but Matrim seems to trust them, and for the reasons given by others, it’s very likely May is village. I also read Fura as village, but their lynch could give us good information, as they’ve been relatively active the past rounds. Something in the back of my head whispers that this is some sort of elim scheme by a Quinn, Mat, and Connie team, but that’s highly unlikely. So, I’m going to vote Fura. It’s not a bad lynch, and I don’t want Connie to die.
  2. The only parties I like are the ones where up to ten people get together to play board games. Other parties, I'm just in it for the food.
  3. Oh, great. How am I going to work this in? Edit: Okay, I'm just going to go with a passing reference to him by the main character. That's good enough, right? Here it is:
  4. “No, I’m human. Memory is a friend. They’ve always been with me, but they weren’t so... physically present until a few months ago. They showed me how to make these.” Ara holds up a small, metal plate carved with a rune. “Without these, I’m basically a battery with no outlet... and that’s how some people treated me at home.”
  5. One of the plot line is a book I’m writing right now is loosely based off of a dream, so I think that is definitely sometime sa source of ideas. Music also definitely helps me when I’m writing. It helps me get into the flow of things better. Art also is good inspiration. A few magic systems I’ve been thinking of are based on pieces of art I’ve seen and thought “hey, how can I make this visual justified in a magic system?” Finally, I like looking at characters or worldbuilding elements I really enjoy and trying to take them in a different direction than the original author. For example, I wanted to try and take a different angle on Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so I started outlining a book about a similar character who goes in a different direction that he character of Faith in that show, putting someone with similar character traits in a totally different situation and seeing how they react.
  6. Let's finally start digging into this magic system. I hope this chapter isn't too info dump-y. (Prompt: Gift)
  7. I think it was just because you posted yesterday.
  8. This means it could have been XP who protected Matrim. Just a thought. I don't know if it means anything, but now we know one of the two roles who could have protected mat was in the hands of a villager. Secondly, I feel like the vote removal was possibly an attempt to make Ventyl look suspicious. I've definitely considered doing that in my previous elim game, and it's a possibility.
  9. “I have some experience in the department of bad families. I mean... if you ever need to talk to anyone... I’ve always had Memory to confide in. I can’t imagine what it would be like without having anyone who understood.”
  10. I would really prefer a Connie or Quinn vote, here, as they would give us some more information. However, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, and I don’t want to open this up even more to vote manip.
  11. “The minds imprisoned here, I would guess. Though whether this city is built for these creatures or the ones we must save... that is still a question I would like answered.”
  12. Wow. Even now I can barely make it through LotR. I definitely couldn't have made it through in elementary school. I listened to it on audio, but I've still never read it.
  13. Cally looks down to where she was frantically scratching notes. “Wow.” Her eyes scanned the page. “Wait... souls of Sjor? What kind of magic do you do? Can I see it?”
  14. “Oh!” That was easy. “Uh, yeah, that would be great. I’ve never met a Fairy before. What do you eat? Can you do magic? What brings you to Midway?” Cally is so excited the questions start tumbling out of her mouth.
  15. "AGH!" Cally pulled her foot back just as the small creature flew down to where she was about to step. "Sorry about that. Are you a faerie? What's your name?" Cally pulled out a notebook and pencil. How could she subtly broach the topic of interviewing this person? She couldn't just ask. Cally shuddered at the idea of such direct confrontation.
  16. Thank you! I’m just lucky my school has a laser cutter I can use.
  17. How am I the first one to post my creation for today? As we're getting more Christmas-y prompts, it's getting harder and harder to incorporate them fluidly. So, meet a new character meant to make my life in this regard easier: The Christmas Spirit. Anyway, here's the next chapter. Prompt: Advent Calendar.
