Huh that's actually kinda interesting. Woulda never guessed they are made with the same movement. Oh, I guess I also have a speech impediment now who knew That's super interesting actually how the way people make their r has changed over time for so many people now they are like "well, guess it's just another way to say it instead." I wonder what causes that to change. Still though, while they are similar in how you pronounce it, I think at least spelling wise and in the word they are pronounced quite differently it seems odd to swap.

Yesss! I've felt this so many times like other languages might be hard to learn but I always hear people complaining about learning English and all the dumb rules. Makes me so glad I already had it learned lol Grammar Police back at it again! Surprisingly accurate lol. I think stealing and then pretending we invented it because we decided to spell and pronounce it completely stupid as well Yess tru, tru. If you look on Google the earlier spelling in French was "coronel" so I can see "kernel" a tiny bit better from that but who's the genius who decided the R should be swapped for an L? English be mad confuzzling sometimes

You start reading and your just like "woh, there's a lot more book here than I thought" It's literally what makes the Cosmere so amazing too is that everything new gives so much more meaning to everything old. It's like the MCU and other top franchise universes you constantly are unraveling all the details and it is so fun to spot new ones along the way! In what ways are you using Neural Network classification and super resolution image processing to aid in that? Has there been anything completely surprising to come out of it yet? Getting a Kindle has been one of the best things for SA books in general (my arms still hurt ) and quarantine good choice! Sounds like you are right on track with that Cosmere and Dawnshard read in prep for RoW well done! I would have to agree also on that SA favorite as well. Every time I read them there's just something special What's the coolest rock fact you know? And I'm guessing your favorite character would be Rock? Oh man that would be so confusing!! That's really interesting they used a translation rather than just using the name as a proper noun just in English. Cuz you are totally right that would then get so difficult trying to figure out what the name was back from the translated version. This is totally what I would be doing!
