Well in the time before the Rebirth "shardbuddies" were a wild breed of flying Appalachian boar capable of transmitting their consciousness across dimensions. To have the chance to interact, let alone see one was a rare honor granted to only those with the highest moral character Ingesting... wait that's not it Acquainting a "shardbuddy" meant a lifetime of peace and prosperity. Each member of the Shardbond received immeasurable powers and were tasked with protecting their nation from the threats of the unknown Nowadays after the Rebirth Sharbuddies are just your bested budsawudzer on the Shard who you can get up to as many or as few budsawudzy things as you want! If you would like I would love to have you be my Shardbuddy and be added to the TTTTTaTToS (which I keep getting behind on for all these "important things" in life [I mean c'mon that's obviously the Shard ] I apologize y'all!) but will be getting out the next piece of with my next set of amazing Shardbuddies as soon as I can!

Ahh I love the title Long Overdue just like my library book status! Welcome to the Shard Doneil! We are absolutely delighted to have you finally come post so we can get you properly welcomed! This is a perfect introduction so I think you can boost that confidence up as high as it can go! A ton of us don't have any CosmeFriends (Cosmere + Friends... *sigh* that was bad ) either so you are in the perfect spot. I can totally agree on being able to scroll through here mindlessly for hours (and sometimes do lol)! So happy that the chapters have helped you start to come our of your shell (and hope you do so even more! ) and that we have become your obsession. We love that you are a part of this and that someone as obsessed as we are has come to join us!!

A mega-post! An intro-er after our own heart Huh that actually sound like it could be pretty cool! Maybe RoW will give you some more evidence for or against it?? You know I've never really thought about how they expanded like that! You're totally right the way they expand in scope like sets you up for understanding how the world at large could get even bigger when taking into account the universe of the Cosmere. It like slowly increases in size for you to get mentally into it totally!

Agh was wondering if I'd missed an intro I'd seen you around in so many places but turns out it just wasn't made yet! Although I do have to admit it isn't a lie by much, while I didn't turn in 2,300 points worth I did have to turn in 2,000 points worth of stuff, roughly 40 assignments and a two part final. Basically that was the one class where we could turn in things late and uh... well yeah

Ooh cool nice choice! I definitely agree on the SA favorite. The characters, the scope, the magic, it's honestly amazing . And I can definitely get with the OB favorite as well! Personally I'm a WoR fan so far but OB is nice because you start seeing the complexities of their powers and stuff making it a close second! And Emperor's Soul is actually really good as well I agree. Welcome again!

Welcome to the Shard VanDemus! We are excited to have you join us! I would so agree with Rosharan here the SA is amazing and you are going to absolutely love it! And man that does make a positive for 2020.. heck maybe even like ten positives! WoR is my favorite book in the series (so far) so I do so hope you enjoy! To avoid spoilers so far (unless you don't mind then by all means go ahead ) I would stay out of the book specific sections and General Cosmere discussion until you get more into it! The Community section and this 17th Shard section should be fine though. Happy reading!

At least with this though they are awesome books to read rather than something boring! Which is your favorite Cosmere series?

Ooh I would have to agree with you here! I always love reading WoR because it's when you finally start seeing them like take their powers by the reigns and start doing amazingly cool stuff with it! Like before then you see the character and get to connect with them but WoR is when you start just being like "awwwww yeah, les get it!" It's like the bridge book between when you understand the character and understand what they can do. I definitely agree on the favorite (although we might see something even more amazing in the future )!
