    I kind of use the character's traits sometimes. For example, I had a character who was a leather-worker and I looked up something along the lines of "names that mean leather/leathery" and Hleotha came up, though I now can't find that anywhere, so maybe it was a dream. Or, I know someone with a character named Silvester who had silver hair, so names that sound like a word that describes them could work. (It also makes it easier for the reader to remember their name and what they look like at the same time) Or things that they like, for example, I also had a character named June Aspen because she was a summery naturey fairy girl. Or maybe you'll think a word sounds cool, like I really like the word "Cascade" so I could use that as a name, or change it slightly to "Cascand," "Cascine" or "Casade."

    Quille heard Wind's plea, but they didn't seem like they were in too much trouble yet. She figured she'd save her sponsorship for saving someone's life. Might as well make her gifts really count. She'd keep an eye on this group, though. They intrigued her, the way they trusted so soon.
