  1. ...what?
  2. @Somebody from Sel on here. (Does that count? I'm rather tired and not completely cognitive.)
  3. So, I just started Critical Role (Thanks in part to @Ark1002's profile pic). I started with season two, and uh... how many hours of this exist so far? Do I have even a minuscule hope of catching up when there's 115 episodes that seem to be 3.5 - 4 hours on average? Despite the length, I'm really enjoying it! It's very engaging, and now I actually vaguely understand DnD. I think that at this point (Episode 5), my favorite characters are Fjord and Caleb. Edit: Also, I keep getting Stormlight vibes from Jester's 'Radiant damage'. It's fun!
  4. "Is there any chance you can play for time?" Martin asks. "Not much, but a little bit? I can... help, but I'll need a little time to get ready." He forces himself not to choke. This is his choice. His.
  5. Good to know! I really like the vibe of their music, it's just... I dunno, quests and ren fair vibes and I love it.
  6. I could see that at some point 'Stormblessed' becomes so tied to Kaladin that it becomes his last name for all intents and purposes. You can make a glyphpair and everything.
  7. Psychology, I guess? I've never really thought about it. I was very fond of Stormwarden, and spearman. Cobalt Guard as well.
  8. Do you think you'll finish? YKYASFW you know what you'll be showing to every one of your classes as soon as you get it.
  9. The drunken Koloss unfortunately fell elegantly onto Lift's albino Shardfork of gluttony.
  10. When you almost put Edgedancing on your friction worksheet.
  11. Martin half-listens to the conversation that's taking place, feeling the last dregs of his logic evaporate. Windstorms? Space survival? Fine. It's not like anything else in his life makes sense.
  12. Yeah, I listened to 'Thus Always to Tyrants', and that has more of a quest vibe, but it's still good!
  13. We had to give examples of velocity with arrows, so I did the Tower u-turn.
  14. Hmmm.... How about Hoid possesses Vasher. There's opportunity for chaos there.
  15. I haven't been able to stop listening to The Oh Hellos 'Soldier, Poet, King'. If anyone knows of songs with a similar vibe, let me know!
  16. So, I've been thinking about Kaladin a lot, especially since I've been drawing him in art class a few times, and came up with something whilst working. So, we all know that Kaladin's brands don't heal because he considers them part of himself/true. I was thinking about that, and how I hope one day they heal, (and also about how on earth the shash brand didn't get infected, but that's for another day) and I thought 'what if they heal separately?' Maybe his sas nahn brand will heal, but the shash won't, if he stops seeing himself as a slave, but still sees himself as dangerous. Maybe the other way around, but I'm not thinking about that because there's only sadness down that path. Just a little thought I had that I thought some of y'all might find interesting.
  17. Underpaid workers plan revolt against poor working conditions. Possible dementia strikes member of ruling class? Young artist has a shocking secret.
  18. When your art project is Kaladin, and you have to ask yourself very carefully how to explain this without spoiling the book.
  19. Nope, it's on my school device. Sorry! I can tell you what I did, though.
  20. When you put a sneaky Stormlight reference in your velocity worksheet.
  21. It was the weekend. But usually it's not that quiet. May I request a meme?
  22. My first thought was Nalthis, I'm not sure why. Stormlight Archive. Does everyone have a water buffalo?
  23. When every time you see your other friend who has read Stormlight, one of you says '__ days to Rhythm of War!' When somehow, the way you said 'Mistborn' convinced someone to read it. And by that I mean I said "They're from Mistborn" (in reference to part of a Halloween costume), and the other person said, "Cool. I'm gonna read that."
  24. I agree, politics in stories are really fun to read. The song 'The Final Countdown' by Europe, has a lyric that is literally the same as the thread title, and my friend and I came up with off-key kazoo during the Kickstarter final minutes, since there's an instrumental part right after that reminiscent of a kazoo. If you listen to the song, it makes more sense. Edit: we picked it up from somewhere.
