  1. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Of course, it's entirely possible that I've been staring too long at that stupid graph I made for skydiving and I should stop trying to understand military strategy.
  2. "Tunnels are not my thing," Kindness half sings and follows Vapor, Spin, and T. "Thank goodness for spren glowstick powers!"
  3. Okay, I really like that one. Rangers Apprentice
  4. Scorched earth, you're right, but I think Windrunners might be able to pull off raids, they can get in and out very quickly.
  5. Freya blushes in embarrassment. It's so hard to get titles right here. "Do you have a preferred honorific I should use, then?" Mist crawls up her arm to rest near her shoulder. "You don't have to use titles from home here, Freya." Right. Worldhopping is much harder than she had originally thought.
  6. So, there's a year between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War (I'll learn to spell that if it kills me), and I want to know what strategies Dalinar's coalition (what is it's actual name) are going to be using. Warning: I don't know what I'm talking about, I am not a strategist. Jasnah strikes me as the type who might be pragmatic enough to go for the scorched earth policy, though that's a little implausible from what we've seen of their position. That could have changed, though. Obviously, they have the ability for strike teams, thanks to the Windrunners. Actually, I'm gonna go on a tangent here, I'll put it in a spoiler. I'd also like to see how the environments play a role. Obviously, Urithiru's in the mountains so it would be pretty tricky to assault it. Any attack would probably be seen from a good distance and again - Windrunner strike teams. Though some of the Fused can fly, but not all of them, if I recall correctly. Then there's the Horneater peaks, which again, would probably be hard to attack. I figure Shin would be tough to get to as well. What about the other nations? What do y'all think?
  7. It is on Prime, but you have to pay extra. I looked into Netflix and free trials, which they do have, but you have to do something involving credit cards, and that's not an option for me, because I don't have one yet. One of these days I'll probably get the DVDs. ....or borrow a friend's Netflix. Yeah, that's more likely. Edit: Some friends dragged me out of my room, and we've watched 3/4 of Book One. I'm enjoying it more than I thought. Zuko's backstory is messed up.
  8. Practically, I'd go with Coinshot. If you wanted to seem completely harmless, pretend to be an Auger, maybe?
  9. Raoden is my favorite, though I really enjoyed Sarene's chapters. Hrathen wasn't ever my favorite, though his character arc was really good, in my opinion.
  10. The violin one is awesome! They all are, but that one's my favorite!
  11. Welcome to the Shard! What's your favorite Era 2 character?
  12. Hey, I can't stop listening to Ten Duel Commandments, so uh... I don't know how much help I'd be. Fun Fact: listening to Hamilton while walking up stairs/down a hall while wearing a nearly knee length cardigan? Best feeling ever.
  13. He is. That moment when he stomps and the lights turn blue... I almost died.
  14. Who watched Hamilton on Disney Plus? It was the first time I'd seen it, and wow, it's so good. The music, the acting, all of it. Especially King George.
  15. I figure that drums and hand clapping rhythms would be popular, or at least common. Those are two of the easiest ways to get a song started, in my opinion. Maybe whistling, though that doesn't really seem to fit the tone of the story. Also, I kind of want Kelsier leading the skaa in 'Do You Hear the People Sing' during the execution scene, but that's a different story altogether.
  16. So far, everything's been the name of an in-world text. So I'm trying to think, what sounds like a book title Roshar would have? I think maybe Knight of Wisdom (learn about the Recreance?), or Killer of Worlds, which does seem to almost fit with Odium, though that's kind of more Ruin. Maybe Jasnah or Navani writes a book when they learn more of how humans ended up on Roshar.
  17. "Here you are," Freya counts out her dun spheres. "Thank you very much, Brightlord."
  18. Is there anywhere to watch Avatar not on Netflix? I don't have it and don't want to get it to watch one show.
