  1. Pffft, death, taxes, and somehow getting voted on as a GM :P. Yes, that's right. Black Ajah do not have a kill in N0.
  2. Night 0 - Death of a Flame Jarna was pacing down the corridors of the White Tower, resolute in the decision she'd just finished making. It was a difficult one, not because of what she had to do, but because it meant exposing herself and confirming the existence of the Black Ajah. But Gitara's Foretelling had forced their hand. Possessing the knowledge of the Foretelling and what it meant was imperative. They just knew it was about the Dragon, and they needed to know more. If the rumours of his rebirth are true, then caution is for the wind. Amyrlin was the only one who had heard Gitara's Foretelling to her knowledge. Taking a deep breath, she rounded a corner and entered the Amyrlin's chambers. Tamra Ospenya was a light sleeper, even before the whole Dragon Prophecy re-telling. She had already appointed searchers and she needed to be the first one to find the Dragon. Moiraine and Siuan would help, of course but we would need more. It was a wonder then, that particular night, she slept through everything and woke up to find herself Shielded and at dagger point. "Jarna, what is the meaning of this- " "Shhhh, Mother. I am going to take you to a far-off place, and you will spill all your secrets to me. And yes, that includes everything about the Dragon Reborn..." Tamra knew she was not going to survive this. She was a dead person walking. The Black Ajah Myth had to stay a myth. *** Alright, we're off the mark finally! Welcome to LG104! I hope you enjoy the game, and make sure everyone is having fun as well! As a reminder, Ajah members are not public knowledge, you do not get to know who is grouped with whom or which Ajah they belong to. You can choose to hide or claim it, totally up to you. Please do not use your GM PMs wordings or copy/paste it elsewhere as it would be against the rules. Couple more things, I have edited the rules in the original thread to change the ajah numbers to actual ajah names. It is updated in the rules doc as well. I will make this public knowledge, Red Ajah are NOT in the game as we did not get 21 players. 18 players are grouped equally into 6 Ajahs - 3 members in each. Please remember to nominate your choice for the Sitter in your respective Ajah docs. You cannot nominate yourself. If at the end of Night 0, you have nominated yourself, your vote will not be counted and you will be disqualified from running for the Amyrlin Seat (others nomination votes on you will not be counted). As we have quite a few new players with us, please welcome them and ensure they have fun. As a(nother) reminder, please do not edit your posts to change your sentences/remove phrases/alter meaning or any of the sort. If you need to make an edit, make it at the end of your post and clearly state that it is an edit. Fixing small typos is okay. I have decided that as it is an extended sign-ups game, players might not turn up in the first 24 hours, so only Night 0 would be ~48 hours. Rest of the nights would your regular 24 hours. As such, Night 0 will end on 23:00 GMT on 21st March 2025. Well, that was quite long, and that should be it, I'll be back if I remember to add something I forgot :P. Go have fun, and do not hesitate to tag me for anything! :). Player List:
  3. Done. I did mean to start the game today but I've got a bit to do and my eyes are shutting down involuntarily, quite tired from all the travel. Once again, I apologize for all the delays, sorry, but the game should start in around 24 hours *finger crossed*, that should be the last of the delays. I did not want to fall asleep without making this announcement. Feel free to talk in here till then.
  4. I don't think it is necessary if all GMs tag all the players in the new thread. Besides, once the threads merge, the links would need to be edited out as well. If you mean to change your username, you can do so in your profile. *** I am officially closing the sign-ups now, though the GM PMs and the new cycle will go up at around 2200 hrs GMT itself. That is in about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  5. That's right yes. No, but I (and usually every GM) tag all the alive players in every new topic for the new cycles. So you will get pinged nonetheless.
  6. Say hi to Wyrm from me :P. But yeah, @KelsierApologist, Kas is right, I'll mention it when that cycle arrives.
  7. Aha! I knew I wasn't going crazy :P. But thanks, I'll update it as soon as I can. I'm not sure if the clocks went forward lol, I'll get back to you on that.
  8. Yes yes that's the point of pushing back the start date, and I was sure I mentioned GMT somewhere, did I not mention that? >> Btw thank you Stick, I'll edit you as PH, when I'm not on phone. I'll put you in as spectator for now (when I'm not on phone), but we usually discuss the game in the spec doc and it does go onto spoiler territory so I'm afraid it's not possible to both spectate and sub. Let me know if you prefer to sub over spectate.
  9. lmaooooo close enough - wolfbrother :P. We're keeping the game relatively spoiler-free as there are players who have not read/watched but the wolf-guy character is quite unique xD
  10. Welcome to SE! I admit this game is a bit unique in design, but it should be easy to follow nonetheless. You can always ask us questions! :).
  11. Tentatively, current plan is to start the game 18th March around 2300 hrs GMT. Don't hold me to it though, I'm only about 90% sure of it. I can run it now, but like I said, I'm flying to a different timezone and it'd just be easier to start the game after I travel. I'll keep you in the subs for now. If I don't get someone by then, I'll switch you to a player.
  12. Yeah that's 17. Believe me, I am trying my best a recruitment :P. Just a heads up, I will be travelling on 16th/17th/18th, so even if we do get a player now, I would feel more comfortable starting this game on 18th or 19th of March. Sorry about this
  13. I think it was her confusion regarding the voting system - i.e., assuming all your votes on the sheet would be counted. Sure, confusion could be faked but I don't think that's the case here. Also, her reaffirming vote on Exp looks good on her imo. We know Joe is village and if Raven is evil, she could have left her vote on Joe to save evil!Raven. If not, voting on a side-train is usually where elims hide, but in this case - Exp already had a lot of focus on him and voting for Exp really cannot be seen as hiding in a side-train imo
  14. Agreed that Raven is more likely to be village with how that cycle went. Still reading Steel as village. Not sure about anyone else. Also not sure if there was an effort to save Exp last cycle. Gut-reads are all I have and it says Nemoras could be evil (and no it is not because they are the other voter on Joe). Polly has gone back to null in my books. Would be willing to join in on Spirit with Ash as well.
  15. (Bold mine. Sorry, what fact are you referring to here? Is it that I was voting on a pseudo-(side?)train. Tbh, I did not (and still don't) have an opinion on Exp. At the time I made the post, I had a slight negative read on Pol and slight positive read on you, everyone else to be figured out. Exp's post and the two votes on him did not give me any indication of the alignment of Exp or their voters.) Edit? - (Hopefully this merges but Steel gut-village from that post)
  16. (I meant more like figuring who was the 4th vote on the train - for example. Or if, later we find out a train is v/e, then who was the one who put either train in the lead. Of course, none of it is a problem if players vote in the sheet right before/after voting on thread. If that is not the case, we're likely to draw false conclusions.) (I am so confused by this xD I'm pretty sure Joe used bomb as in vote - but reading bomb as vote here - I cannot understand it :P. (Ah, let me elaborate further. It is normal/NAI for someone to post suspicion on someone and vote in the sheet for the same person. Agreed that anyone doing otherwise would be immediately suspected. My point is that Joe chose to post his suspicion in red/bold as against, in direct contrast, Pol stated their suspicion and voted in sheet but did no highlight the suspicion with red/bold. Eh sure, it's likely NAI anyway, but I want to assign a small village lean towards it nonetheless.) (Hmm, yeah we can but only our last vote is counted. It's just like a normal game - except we are voting in the sheet. So looking at the sheet, you're actually only voting for Lord Spirit because that is your latest vote. Similarly, I reckon Joe made a list of players he suspected (the 3 names in red) and voted for the one he suspected the most. We cannot vote for more than one player at the same time.)
  17. "Unless, of course, the criminal thought themselves to be smarter than the others. Assuming you are the smartest person in the room is a gamble, sure. But a gamble is always one step away from being an assured outcome if that assumption is correct. Most criminals just punch at thing someone points towards. Very few of them come up with deep cunning plans by themselves. In fact, I'd say it is quite easy to be smarter almost all criminals. Not to say that I promote cheating in cards, but just that... gambling isn't always truly 'gambling', ya know? The Suspicious Man was the first person to voice his opinions publicly (read: voted red in-thread), when there was no need to, and in fact, in the interest of the Turncoats to speak as quietly as possible (vote on the sheet keeping a low profile). The fact that Suspicious Man did so promoted/forced everyone, including possible Turncoats, to do so is a good look on him. I don't have an opinion on anyone else, expect a general bad feeling about the Enforcer. General thoughts about the situation - with this new way of voicing our suspicions, we will not be able to find out the exact time when others state their suspicion, which is going to be a hindrance. (Vote count analysis is going to be a bit difficult this game, we would not know if the players did vote when they said they did or if they actually voted after someone else voted, that's bit of a drawback to this style of voting) Vote Count: Experience (2): A Joe in the Bush, KelsierApologist #1 Taln Fan (1): Twinstorm A Joe in the Bush (1): Nemoras Enchanted Easel KelsierApologist (1): |TJ| TheRavenHasLanded (1): Ashbringer Post Count: Polly - 1 Joe - 2 TwinStorm - 2 Exp - 1 Ash - 1 Nemora - 1 TJ - 1
