    Hyron narrowed their eyes at the princess, searching within her eyes for something. Hyron turned, looking everywhere. Wait. Where was the queen?

    Hyron frowned. They looked around. Guards incapacitated, very very powerful Miyako... Nothing seemed wrong...

    Hyron opened their eyes as Miyako rose, and almost laughed for joy, before realizing maybe they should cry first, before realizing maybe they should just do some fighting first. They stood, breathing in, feeling the raw power of nature all around them, despite the sterile white throne room. But underneath it, and outside it... it was everywhere. Hyron realized what this was. This was an Attunement, of the highest order, a NexAttunement. Hyron took Miyakos hand.

    Hyron ignored the golden ropes, which were tightening around their and Miyako's bodies. Miyako still wasn't breathing, but the power remained. Hyron looked at the ropes, seeing their face in the reflection. Their marblings were still there, but their eyes... their eyes were glowing. Glowing a deep, forest green. Hyron gasped, and when that breath released, flowers covered that section of the golden rope, which then disintegrated, floating away in small green motes. Hyron looked down at Miyako, up at the princess, then back down at Miyako. They couldn't think. Miyako wasn't breathing, they were trapped, and despite having just found a way to escape, part of them knew it was worthless. Hyron curved their body around Miyako's, protecting her, preparing for death. They hissed through their teeth, and Breath came out. But not light blue, like normal. No, this was a soft, gentle green. And it gathered around Miyako, a shield, or an aura, of green. And nothing happened. Hyron didn't see it happen, their eyes squeezed shut. @Mr. Misting @xinoehp512

    Hyron made a vine split down the middle, grab a guard by the face, and slam him into the ground. Damn, Hyron thought, That felt good. Hyron looked around. Yerik was still fighting a few guards, and a couple more were edging towards Hyron, fear apparent in their stance, despite their blank expressions. Hyron heard the princess scream, then smashed the two guards' heads together, and turned. The princess was choking Miyako with some sort of strange magic rope... or maybe it was just rope. Regardless, Miyako was not doing well. Hyron took a drink from her canteen, then launched into the air with a vine. They came down fast, slicing the rope around Miyako's neck, but it remained in place. Hyron cursed, shoving the princess back a few feet with a vine. Knowing it was only a temporary solution, Hyron grabbed Miyako's hand and Breathed on the rope. it didn't budge. Hyron cursed again, instead using a vine to quickly cut it away, peeling off the stiff cord to open Miyako's airways. "Breathe," Hyron muttered as the princess recovered, preparing a counter attack, "Breathe, breathe, breathe. Come on," Hyron said, shaking her, voice rising. Something else began to rise, from deep inside Hyron. A power, a feeling, something ancient and benevolent and strong. "Breathe!" Hyron shouted, willing Miyako to breathe. @xinoehp512 @Mr. Misting

While the bond between human and spren is what causes the ability to use Surges, I'm unsure if the same mechanics work in the Dreamscape... but if Windaphra believes it's possible, logistically, then yes," Calano said, nodding, "It should be effective." @Shadowed @The Bookwyrm

    Hyron stared, utterly shocked. Then they became angry. This... princess, dared to mimic the magic that had been gifted to Hyron's forefathers, their ancestors. This type of magic should only be reserved for lush, green, plants. Not cold, heartless, lifeless golden threads. Hyron sent a barrage of vines at the princess, coming from every direction. Their thoughts became clearer and clearer, their motions more sharp, fluid. Hyron began to sweat from the exertion. This couldn't last long

    A vine shot at the gold, shattering the thread before it dropped to the ground. Hyron lowered their hand, breathing heavily. They struggled to remember what to do, and stood, trying to get a sense of their bearings. The only thing they could think, the reason they reacted, was to protect their friends. Protect Miyako. They shook their head, thoughts slowly becoming clearer. They muttered something about needing a sword, then shot another vine at the princess. @Mr. Misting

    Hyron shouted, his limbs locking up. They had never felt such excruciating pain before. It faded away, and they fell to their knees, breathing through their teeth. They looked up, noting the mist was slightly less opaque now. Hyron groaned, standing. They chugged down a quick gulp of water, and prepared to continue fighting.
