  1. I like how it's detecting me, specifically
  2. I felt like Sart had decent points on how her first post sounded. Plus, it was a strong enough accusation that I felt like it should stick. And I want to stay engaged and forcing myself to make decisions like that does that.
  3. If you don't need the bones anymore could I borrow them? Also does Insanity last a turn or a cycle? It reads a turn but there's really not many Day actions.
  4. I have... a lot of diversions right now. Like that essay I need to start by yesterday. But TKN and Kas feel right to me. A lot of people seem to think Mat is reacting while TJ calls Mat out as calm - maybe that's a sign that Mat's counteracting himself or that TJ isn't seeing the same things. Aman and Archer... hard to say. E!Aman is scary but thread control can be hard to identify. E!Araris might go for more thread control. Who does that leave? A lot of faces in the dark. Like mine. I like the arguments on DeTess though. And some things aren't worth much whispered.
  5. I mean I usually just do it instead of saying I'm doing it. Or just repeatedly note about how busy I am and let people fill in the rest.
  6. Idk if someone else mentioned them happening to me, but someone mentioned what response they were trying to get out of Alpha and/or how it would be useful. I just tried to give an example of how it might be helpful or might be NAI. And also how regardless they could be frustrating at times. Plus I'd prefer to stay somewhat on topic of analysis instead of just posting nothings. Even if I should really get to that presentation I need to do for Bio.
  7. I'm whispering. We're in the Forests, you see. You should whisper too. So that they can't hear you. ... Although apparently you can't whisper using a mobile device so that's fun and doesn't ruin my plans whatsoever
  8. I've gotten hit by surprising large vote trains before, as either Good or Evil. I think E!Ash gets more upset at them (with one example in particular). But I tend to play defensively if I'm active and Village anyway, and Inactive!Ash can just end up demoralized and become more Inactive / Dingo!Ash. That's sort of what happened LG93. Either way, not exactly a fun time, but something you can sometimes get info out of.
  9. ...you're playing SE on a Kindle? That's a new one. Makes it difficult to vote, unless you just use the Voice in the Crowd secret things... Wait did you know Mat voted or did you not This is confusing Also happy 2500 posts TKN
  10. The rules for this have changed a bit from what I remember... maybe because last time AraRaash!Silence just protected themselves 3-4 times in a row. But otherwise no funny business, just otherworldly business. Now I do have college to still do, so carry on with your puns.
  11. Yeah… I might be running my Shard Game after this one. That will be complicated I’ll sign up. Not committing to RP, because college is still wrapping up, but AraRaash may appear as necessary.
  12. Stealing from Cassie would probably not be the best first impression she's somewhat more understanding of pickpockets from her own experiences, but her vengeful side is still not to be trifled with. She'd recognize Kan as strange for a kandra, though, and Kan could maybe see her metal skin as something similar as to what happened to them? Maybe. We could always just have the two of them meet in the streets or have KanDraa attempt to buy metals though,
  13. Got bored, wanted to make a somewhat more available DA member or DA-adjacent-character. Kalten's probably going to be stuck in more DA-centric plots. Tauvin:
  14. A flurry of motion crossed the boundary of Byron's time bubble in the other room. He tried to ignore it; he wasn't sure if it counted as perceiving them, but they'd definitely notice something was amiss either way. Better to not risk it. He grunted as an impact shook the side of the mirror, but it still held. It didn't feel very strong - his bubble was working. That or they were trying to attack it backwards and were being clumsy, but Byron doubted that's how these things worked. Another crack - this one to his side, as a bit of wall came loose. Rusts, they were digging through the walls? They'd have to move fast once they got to the next floor before they started digging through the floor. Or ceiling? Byron suddenly realized he'd missed which way that Vivi went... Crack! Right. Wall. "Oh no you rusting don't," Byron grumbled, expanding his bubble until the hole was at the very edge of it. Good luck digging with a deflective shield half in the way. The thing could just move, but that still bought time for them. He looked away from the hole beginning to shine through to the blackness behind to look at the window. Viv and Willow were through. And something was on the wall... he couldn't... quite... no, there. Will call down when it is safe. Whoever holds the mirror comes up last. Perses... Byron blinked as Willow's message began to fade. He was last to go, he'd gotten that much. And calling down meant going up. He was glad Willow wrote it down instead of trying to yell, he was going too slow to make out anything. He felt the wall take another impact. Just a little longer.
  15. What do you think they'd be doing? I have Cassie who's not busy at the moment, we could have them meet. Alternatively I have another DA character idea who could go looking for KanDraa, but I'd need to write them up. And even then, figure out how he'd interact with people. He's a Fused
  16. I'll pinch hit. 2 more weeks of classes then... well then finals but then SE becomes a break and not a distraction
  17. Byron nodded to Vivi and grabbed the mirror. It didn't feel like anything was pushing on it, not now. But that could change quickly. Well, not too quickly. He waited until Vivi and Willow were halfway for the window before flaring his cadmium, turning one second into ten. The figures in front of him blurred into motion, but he got the gist of things. Byron was good at that. And hopefully the things in the room behind weren't so great at breaking things at a tenth the rate. Still, to him any attack would be as fast as normal. So he flipped a dagger into one palm and pressed himself against the mirror. They'd figure out a plan. Right?
  18. 72(?): Abandon the Fullborn in the vacuum of space, nothing to Push off of and they’ll run out of metals trying to not suffocate/freeze eventually. May need a method to prevent creating a perpendicularity/FTL.
  19. Just on something in the Wickwillow Manor - Byron's basing his expectations of what these monsters / this place are from his own experience in the Alleys. He spent a long time in there, even from his own perspective and a lot longer from an outside one - maybe a month Byron-time, a year or two real-time for as much as time applies in there. He doesn't remember everything but he spent a lot of time burning cadmium waiting for some creature to pass by. Some of the more Alley-knowledgeable characters (mainly looking at Whisper, but Cobalt or the others too) may pick up on that
  20. Byron hesitated. Normally he'd consider the window a nice option, especially if he was in a hurry. But this place... it reminded him of too many places. The dark places before he arrived here. He liked escaping, sure, but so much of what he knew was to just wait. Wait and see. Wait for them to lose interest. Wait to learn what it was you were about to do. "The window would be faster, but... places like this work on rules. If it's bigger on the inside than the outside, and we go outside, then we might find ourselves in a place we do not want to be," he objected, grimacing. "Maybe we don't want to be here either. And maybe breaking a wall is breaking the rules too. But... it makes me nervous." The more he thought about it, the more the logic appealed to him. If they were fast they could close the window before the monsters could follow. If they weren't, well, then they wouldn't have time to break through a wall. But that part of him still wanted to curl up into a ball and burn cadmium until everything just went away. Byron walked over to the mirror, stopping right before the edge of his bubble hit Willow, Cobalt, and Vivi. "I can hold it. Or at least help. I can't break down walls, and I'm going to be burning cadmium anyway... might as well use it for something."
  21. Alpha... both Alpha and Telrao aren't what I expected. Telrao on the surface seems more sus, but looking back it feels less... aware. Particularly when she sussed JNV immediately after JNV claimed Cord. I don't really know why Alpha's been voting alongside JNV and I (although I can explain why I voted alongside JNV D3 - JNV said that TKN had been their kill target that I stopped, so I was more willing to help exe him). But Alpha feels a lot more aware. Also, I could see Alpha+Araris on a team a lot more than Telrao+Araris. Always the game plan, figure out who you trust. I trust me. I trust JNV. I think I can trust TJ, honestly. Do I trust Telrao? Because that leaves an Alpha-Araris-Wizard team with E!Huio that looks promising. Bah. TJ, did Kas tell you his scan D1? No idea if it's relevant, I just want to track down Huio somewhat.
