  1. Kadash could be a spy without being a member of the Sons of Honor. He could be spying for the Vorin Church and reporting to someone inside the Vorin Church who is a member of the Sons of Honor.
  2. At least 1 of each. I would priorities having 1 of each order before having multiples of any single order. I value versatility and having the ability to deal with as many problems as possible.
  3. Tuesday was already my favourite day of the week because of the CK3 dev diaries.
  4. One thing we have to remember about Gavilar is that the Stormfather chose him to be a bondsmith which means he must have the potential for radiance
  5. Or perhaps Amaram was intended to replace Sadeas
  6. I don't see how having multiple personalities prevents someone from being self-aware. If Shallan's way of understanding herself is viewing herself in the form of many personalities to understand the desires motivations and feelings of each distinct personality then the culmination of that would be self-awareness. Interesting. Personally the way I am around strangers is my true self whereas around friends and family and people I know I am often an adjusted version of myself which changes depending on who I am around. In fact it would take a very good reason for me to not be myself around strangers since I would consciously have to put up a false face. I would only do this if I had a strong desire to hide my identity or I felt it necessary to manipulate someone dishonestly due to the limitations of standard manipulation. The reason I adjust my personality around people I know is so that I synergise with their personality. for example my sister is very optimistic and hopeful. So when i am around her I tend to become more pessimistic and cautious in order to give her perspectives on decisions she may not have considered in order to help her make better decisions. My Father is quite assertive so when I am around him I allow him to make decisions and I will offer suggestions and ideas. This is contrasted to when I am around my mother who is quite indecisive and when I am around her I often am more assertive and decisive and often make decisions. Note: The spellchecker on this forum is highlighting that synergise is spelt incorrectly when this is not the case. Does anyone know how to report a bug?
  7. Well that is possible, but the records of the radiants when they abandoned urithuru prior to the recreance indicate the sibling was already beginning to slumber. We know that this generation of radiants had only one bondsmith and I find it unlikely that Melishi was bonded to the sibling since the radiants have no idea what is happening to the sibling. If Melishi were bonded to the sibling then I expect that he would have an idea as to what was happening to it to cause it to slumber. This is assuming that the sibling was beginning to slumber when the radiants abandoned urithuru which to my knowledge is not confirmed and only strongly hinted at.
  8. I think the idea of shallan's personalities being closer or further away from real shallan is flawed. I think it is a binary case, either all of her personalities are real and part of her or each of them are completely false faces created by her own imagination for the situation she found herself in.
  9. That doesn't preclude a state of being in which having three personalities in one body is not a problem
  10. no. But I also don't find it strange. I also am unsure that having three personalities in one body is a problem.
  11. I remember Brandon saying at one point Szeth starts ROW in prison.
  12. Jasnah's body had vanished prior to Shallan soulcasting the ship.
  13. We have seen one form of Elsecaller transportation that doesn't mean it is the only form of Elsecaller transformation. In addition Voidbinding is definitively different to Surgebinding. We know specifically that the Surge of Gravitation works significantly different for both.
  14. Its unclear whether or not there is a difference between what two distinct orders can do with the same surge. And if there is is a difference to what extent is the difference. Every unique surgebinding technique in the radiant orders seems to be a combination of their two surges or specifically related to Bondsmiths are Special. For all we know Windrunners can also use spiritual adhesion.
  15. "There were other spren with skin like cracked stone, molten light shining from within. Still others had skin the color of old white ashes—and when Kaladin saw one of these point toward something, the skin stretching at the joint of his arm disintegrated and blew away, revealing the joint and knobs of the humerus. The skin quickly regrew." “It doesn’t happen often,” Syl said as they passed a group of the ash-colored spren sitting around a table and watching the crowds. They eyed the humans with overt hostility, and one flicked fingers toward Kaladin.
  16. Which chapter. I just reread the one in celebrant and only the ashspren were hostile.
  17. Work with one of the fused who has access to the lightweaving surge. Or just fly in pretending to be a windrunner.
  18. How do we know that?? Is it an assumption based on on the fact that none have bonded radiants as far as we know or has it been confirmed by a WOB or in one of the cosmere books
  19. I believe the current prevailing theory is that the nahel bond works by spren attaching themselves to an indivduals spirit web and that it is only possible to attach to a person who is 'broken' as otherwise their spiritweb wouldn't be damaged. This damage to the spirit web is what allows the spren to attach themselves to the individual. As I understand it none of this is confirmed.
  20. Well at the very least people should be experimenting with fabrials by trapping every type of spren they can find and seeing what affect it has. Who knows what they might discover. I was thinking that surge fabrials also used spren and these spren could be attracted by a radiant using the corresponding surge.
  21. Thats why we should hurry up and invent them
  22. When did Jasnah come back to life?
  23. Gravitation Fabrials! The Current vessel is reliant on a large amount of chulls and manpower for mobility. In addition it would only take a small group of people on the shattered planes to disrupt its horizontal movement. This means that building multiple of these vessels is a poor use of resources and would exasperate a strategic weakness (The Shattered Planes). In addition Gravitation Fabrials aren't less effective the further you are from Urithuru/Shattered Planes.
  24. How do we know Urithiru is a secure location in the cognitive realm and that fused aren't just guarding it like they were guarding the Oathgates in Thaylen City? How do we know it is a delegation? I was under the impression it was Shallan, Adolin and a unnamed envoy.
