MU is scary Heck, I was like the lowest poster in that game. iirc. Not close to the highest, at least. So TL;DR, look for weird claims?

I think the question is whether or not there are neutrals, not elims. Though I guess there could be neutral-evils and no elims. Depends how literally you take what rules Kas gave us :P. I played a flipless MU game where the village swept the elims, minus one villager D1 (me >>). Might be worth looking what strategies that village used, though MU games are a whole different thing and I don't particularly want to comb through dozens of pages xD How'd the village do in TJ's game? I remember that neutral!Devo won, but the village did alright, yeah?

Matrim's Dice logged onto the shard in May, 2020. He was bored of the few months of lockdown that had passed, ignorant of the many more to come. But he was looking for something to do. That was when he found MR42. Technically, he first found QF44. But we don't talk about the days where he was a spectator who didn't know how voting worked. He caught on quickly. Matrim's Dice's first SE game was also his largest: Thirty players, one of which who was an sk who wanted nothing more than Matrim's Dice's demise. You see, he was Lord Winsting Innate-- the power role, the villager. He lost that game, in the end. But, in the long run, he won. Because he had found something greater than the result of a game. He had found a community inside a community, a place where boredom was replaced by paranoia; where lockdown from his neighbors was replaced with contact with people from the far corners of the earth. He had found SE.

I love the writeups so much xD Good job with those, looking forward to more The path forward seems pretty clear since Wiz claimed evil to me in PMs a few hours ago. I played along then, but now the chance has come to reveal I was village all along! Hmm. An interesting strategy, believing Archer seconds into D1 :eyes: AKA, "then I rolled elim"

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints corner

There’s a difference between club group things and actual cults, and there’s a difference between cults and actual religions. I’d just be careful throwing around that term in places where it might be taken seriously, because there’s enough misinformation as it is. Edit: Ah, being privy to inside jokes is just :chefskiss: -

They would be wrong While a technical definition is "a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object", the connotation it is always used in is "a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister". So, yeah, definitely doesn't fit any major religions. And most small ones. -
Kas. Not for any reason, really. Just an experiment.

It’s not one though. Not to burst the joke or anything, but it’s not. -
Has anyone here read Elder Empire by Will Wight? Looking for advice. I've started Sea book 1, and am going to read Shadow book 1 next, but after that should I read Sea book 2 or Shadow book 2 first?
If you don't know what I'm talking about feel free to ignore this

I think I understand now I guess the same thing still applies on a lesser scale, depending on what the roles do. But that’s easier to figure out than if they were alignments.
-
Clearly not I guess, my question would be, does everyone get the alignment they choose? Cause if everyone but one person chooses Windrunner that’d be interesting.
-
That would probably need to be more of a faction game rather than a tradition village/elims, with things set in place in the case of a crazy skew one direction. Steel ran a game very similar to this, actually, an anon choose-your-own-faction game, so I’d recommend reading the rules of that to maybe get some ideas. I want to say it was LG79? Idk exactly. For all I know you played it I don’t remember if it was before your time. Edit: Steel did run LG79, but it was a choose your own role, not alignment. The game I was thinking of was LG87, which isn’t anon (though 79 is) Edit 2: And you did play that game, so never mind entirely xD

This is absolutely my favorite non-Brandon series. I read them as they were coming out and to date are the only non-Brandon books I’ve ever preordered.

Hmm… you got the ‘tall’ part Face shape and expression, not exactly. My hair is dark but it’s brown. Course, I imagine Mat in WoT differently, but that’s because this site has corrupted my view of the name to the point that I imagine him looking kind of like me…
