I had considered this... if more people like xino over Breaker I'll switch. I'm with you on most of your reads, actually. What's the asterisk mean? I only ask because it's me Well, his original vote on Ventyl was a poke, so that wasn't likely to stay from the beginning. He moved off because he read Ventyl as being normal Ventyl instead of elim Ventyl, which he was apparently right and we maybe should have listened to the one out of us who knows Ventyl best. Rollover time is also at a time where lots of people are asleep, especially with the reset. I know that in the first version of C1 I posted right away, and on the second version posted when I woke up. It's just what I do on the main threads, regardless of alignment. So unless you know everyone's timezones, I don't think analyzing this is super useful. Again, I talk this much regardless of alignment, it's how I play. I don't find it fit to sit back and watch very often, and when I can follow the thread I very much do. This is another thing I don't find makes very useful analysis unless you know everyone's playstyle pretty well. (The same goes for the following sentence of your post, but this I could use an example.) Where'd the solid 'four' come from? An assumption, or a freudian slip? I very much hope it's the first. This suggests a newer, less-experienced elim team because as people have pointed out, older players won't want to fear kill. I find it curious that Breaker had been devoutly following the thread until I posted that, then seemingly dropped off the face of the earth... not incriminating, but interesting all the same. (Hello, white text) I still don't like the 'voting on the person who voted on me' reasoning, though I understand that's not what you said in that particular post. It's not whittling a good resource, I didn't take away from Ash's list- and I even said his was better for the people. Like I already said, my list was purely me thinking out loud. People who look at it can agree, or not, but either way it 1. Helps me think and narrow down my suspects and 2. Lets people know what I think, which we already all agreed was the best situation. I don't think you're sus specifically. You're on the end of that list because Ash took you that far down and I haven't had any particular gut reaction to you. For the rest, see above. I don't expect people to blindly follow my list. The contrary; I'd be skeptical if someone did.

That's assuming it was a fear kill, which I'm not fully buying. I'll continue with your list, because how you took that down makes a lot of sense. Likewise, I know I'm not an elim, so out my name goes! (Though I'm inserting yours back in ) Quinn0928, Dannex, Archer, Snipexe, StrikerEZ, xinoehp512, Ashbringer Gut village read on Quinn, same for Striker, maybe because of his hesitance on Ventyl. (iirc he said that he read Ventyl as just being normal, not elim) Dannex, Archer, Snipexe, xinoehp512, Ashbringer I trust Archer. Dannex, Snipexe, xinoehp512, Ashbringer There's a much more narrow list. I realize Ash's is much more useful, as he narrowed his down by fact (or some form of it) and I narrowed mine down by reads, sort of thinking out loud. I'll keep my vote where it is, though.

Vengeance train is never a good idea :P. Confirmed good doesn’t mean confirmed right (don’t quote me on that; not my saying) but flip flopping that, confirmed wrong doesn’t equal confirmed evil. (Besides, Archer wouldn’t even be a vengeance train.)

If I wanted you dead because you are trusted village I'd just NK you and go for an exe that would be guaranteed to be supported.

Breaker. You were in an easy position to misexe Ventyl (see my first post.) And hopped on Archer who is currently my strongest village read.

I wonder if Araris got off any PMs before he died... I'll look at his posts if I have time later tomorrow night, if not then the 26th. So a vote removed off of Archer, which is an interesting choice. It doesn't look like there was a Cambric vote. Of the votes on Ventyl, it's hard to pinpoint which seems the most suspicious, but I'm reasonably confident there's an elim in the train somewhere. It'd have been fairly easy to vote 'just to be safe' and get away with it, so I'd look at the later voters, especially those who emphasized this as their reason. Since Breaker was one of these, it makes me wonder if ^that post is some form of distancing from the elims as a whole.

I don't like how close the votes are. I would suggest those on alternate trains to move their votes to condense it, as there almost surely will be manip and a Cambric vote. I won't be on until after rollover, most likely.

My secret is not game specific at all. It's simply a village strategy I've used to catch an elim before, and I was using it as an example to show how I understood what Archer's game specific secret could be. So the answer is probably never, but that doesn't actually affect the game. Honestly I wish people would drop the whole thing :P. Archer: Disregarding his 'strategy' entirely, I like Archer's posts. They feel very sincere and thought out, with good points. Whatever he's holding back clearly has a reason. Village. xinoehp512: Similar to Archer, I like and agree with the most of his points, especially concerning Snipexe. Mild Village. Straw: I'm fighting my initial gut-elim read on Straw, because his reads are really good. Slight Village/Neutral. Snipexe: I very much agree with xino and Archer's thoughts on Snipexe. He's a solid neutral read to me. Ventyl: Same as before. Mild Elim All others are null/haven't decided enough yet. (Though Breaker, the mods ask we don't double post, instead editing any new thoughts into the first post.)

Yeahhhh there is an element of trust involved. But it works and I wouldn’t apply it to every situation. I’ve never brought it up before. This makes me more sure of my vote, too. I’m leaving for awhile. I’d be very disappointed if I come back dead because I didn’t feel like outing my village strategy.

No no no, you see, this is like what Archer is doing, right? And his thing is not sus. But that reasoning won’t work for someone who things his thing is. lemme explain: I have a strategy I use as a villager sometimes. If the elims knew what it was, it wouldn’t work. So me saying it renders it useless. It is not sus, it is further strategy.

Rather not, tbh. I find the strategy useful and it would be more so not widely known. I don’t actually know if that’s what Archer is doing, but if so is a legitimate reason to keep a suspicion to himself. Currently Archer is up for exe, tied with Snipexe. It’s the most trainy we have. (What would you call that, though, if not a train?) What I meant by train was more neutral than how it’s typically used. Basically I meant “Ventyl is jumping to vote on someone for reasons already widely agreed/talked about, and I find that suspicious.”

Hmm. I’ll stick a vote on Ventyl. I realized, just now, what village!Archer is likely trying to do. I’ve done the same thing many times, or tried to. So I’ve decided that Archer not sharing his thoughts isn’t a reason to exe him, and that he’s not elim for it. (Though I will say when I try something like what I believe Archer is trying I typically don’t publicly say I have a suspicion I’m not sharing ) Not going to mention it specifically, because strategy. It’s possible Ventyl is jumping on what seems an easy enough train to go on. That’s enough for me, right now.

In addition to Dannex: @Archer, keeping information to yourself, particularly suspicions, is not helpful to anyone. If you really are village you know that sharing information/thoughts is how we can win, so saying you have a suspect, not saying who, and not voting them is contrary to the village goal.
