  1. Are you sure you aren't dying? What is your heart rate? No! I am the king of the squirrels!
  2. Challenge accepted: Green: Tree, Grass, Vegetable, Infection, Poison, Serpent. New, Fresh, Vibrant, Rotten, Old, Neglected. Life and Death. A single color.
  3. Haha. I don't think anyone has posted here who is an adult besides Experience. We all just came to laugh at you. I'll see you again for reals in about 6 months.
  4. Araris If he does have another life I can use my NK on him. The problem is there’s most likely another elim but either way by the end of the night there would be one elim with one life and two villagers.
  5. Kas for one. He has been rather back and forth on Danex, at some points citing his suspicions, at another questioning your vote on him. Then he is still voting me, and voted Danex D1. @Kasimir, remind me your reasoning for voting Danex D1, then switching to me. Is it just because you are more suspicious of me, or did Danex do something to decrease suspicion on him that I missed? I'm not hard set in this Danex vote.
  6. Yeah, that's my bad on the D2 vote. It didn't even cross my mind. I think exeing Danex today could give us some good information. I know he hasn't spoken much (which is sus in its own right), but the fact that he only has one life remaining killing him could actually get us some more info and progress the game farther. Danex
  7. Episode 5 spoilers Because if not, then I am even more of a nerd than I previously thought. And I find that I am okay with that.
  8. No one has attempted to kill me yet. So @Kasimir, you think it was the elims that killed Illwei, and you are claiming the shot on Tani. @Ookla of Anarchy and Chaos, you think that it could have been Illwei who took out Archer? If no one claims that one then I'll agree with you.
  9. Ghostbloods???
  10. Do we know how many elims there are? Because it might be a threesome team with Araris in there. Good point. My thinking was for a vote to go through, there's a decent chance some of those in the vote are vil. I didn't consider that the elims could have been pushing for that and convinced others to go in on the vote. I'll go do a re-read on Danex, and Sart too.
  11. Okay, super sorry for my lack of inactivity, but here is my going-through of the player list. Araris: Jumped on the Sart bandwagon, but then switched to Illwei for no apparent reason. That's a little suspicious, but I'll follow this line of logic further when I get to Illwei. They could potentially be an elim teammate with Sart. Voting them at the beginning, then switching. Has been very active this game, but if inactivity is an indicator of suspiciousness then I'm the most suspicious here. Illwei: Weird stuff going on with Archer. Like Araris said, it could be some weird ploy of them working together, but I don't think so. Was voted by Araris and Archer. I could potentially see an e/e team between Illwei and Araris, because Araris could have thrown his vote at Illwei to throw off suspicion if one of them got exposed, but I don't think its likely. Tani: Has given us hardly anything to work with. I know its hypocritical of me to complain, but I'm going to anyway. When they sort of reactiated last night none of their posts had any substance to it. I don't know what I think vil/elim wise, but killing them wouldn't tell us much, but that could be exactly the reason why we should vote them. This game hurts my brain. Danex: Once again, not much to work with except their vote on Archer. That was the vote that went through, so it's not horribly suspicious. Due to the lack of substance I'm going with gut and saying village? Szeth: Voted for Archer, so by the same logic I used with Danex I don't suspect them. That logic is probably wrong but I'm sticking with it. There seems to be a decently common consensus that Szeth isn't elim. I haven't been in a game with Szeth before so I can't speak to playstyle stuff, but I'll trust your collective opinion. Mage: hi Sart: Got bandwagoned on very first. They retaliated with a vote on Archer. Then they switched to me which biases me against them. I kind of suspect them because they have been consistently active, but not revealing too much of what they think. Archer: Very active. Votes all over the place though. First Sart, then me, then Illwei. By the same logic that I used on Araris, they could be in league with Illwei, voting them once their vote no longer mattered. There also has been a common consensus that their playstyle/tone is quite suspicious. Once again I can't speak to playstyle, but it seems to be a common opinion and I see where everyone is coming from. Kasimir: Has been playing very levelly, and hasn't done anything suspicious, so I think I trust them. That could however be exactly what they want me to think... Ultimately I think my most suspicious list, in order, is Archer, Araris, and Illwei. Please critique any of my logic. Note: Ookla season and the fact that the shard splits up threads into pages makes it bloody difficult to use ctrl-F when going through and doing reads. If anyone knows a better way to do this let me know.
  12. Sorry. I’m here I have been traveling. For some reason I thought the game didn’t start for another few days. I’m going to go do a read through of the rules and day one then I will return to post some thoughts.
  13. So I showed the show to some friends who have never read the books, and they really like it which is awesome, but we were coming up with acronyms for all the different characters. Lan: Legendary Asian Ninja Rand: Redhead antisimp noble dude. (antisimp because he and Egwene are drifting apart in the show as of episode 4) Mat: Manly alone time. (Not sure where this one came from.) Perrin: Perfectly Exquisite Really Really Interesting Nihilist Egwene: (not an acronym, but) Egwana, like the lizard thing Moraine: Motherly or rambunctious actually intelligent nice expediciant. Most of these make zero sense, but I thought they might be a little bit funny.
  14. Sazed. What exactly do you mean by that last clue?
  15. Alright, I have finally caught up to episode four, so I will post my thoughts and then will probably post again once season one is ended. I freaking love the show. Episode one wasn't great so I was a little worried, but the episodes just kept getting better. I think the casting is great and everything is well written and acted. The Lan and Nynaeve romance is awesome, and a bit more obvious than in the book. I like it. Most of what I have to say is about the changes from the book. I really should have anticipated them because every adaptation has changes, but since I didn't really think about it some caught me off guard. Some of the changes I really liked, and some I didn't as much. The good outweighs the bad though. Okay. These are my thoughts. Overall I really like the show, and like the fact that on aggregate it is different.
  16. The planet seems to be about the size of the Earth that you and I know, though it is moving much slower. Beneath the swirling clouds of Asuin 3’s atmosphere lies a long, narrow continent. The continent runs from North Pole to South Pole and is about 100 miles thick on average. The atmosphere traps much heat, but it also traps moisture. There is plenty of water but you simply need to cool it down. This causes the political and economic power to coalesce in the high cold mountains. The peasants work the low jungle lands and bring food to the mountain nobles in exchange for cool water. Once every twenty years the night and the winter align, making the normal jungle cool enough for drinking water. When this happens the nobility loses their water power for a short period and must retain their rule through other means. @The Unknown Aon @Random Bystander
  17. Looks like you need more players. I'm down for this, and I totally love the premise. I have these feruchemy/allomancy debates IRL and could see how it might come to murder.
  18. Yeah, what Danex said. However I think the distinction between the two types of oathgate transfer is whether you take the whole platform or just the building. I don’t think there’s an option for just the contents of the building. When shallan transferred them in WoR she took the control building and the crem was on the outside so it stayed behind.
  19. When you refuse to mosh at school dances because it sounds too much like Moash When you are watching Dune and keep accidentally calling the Fremen 'Aiel' in your head.
  20. If it was atium, imagine what kind of shenanigans you could pull as a Mistborn burning that stuff.
  21. I don't know, but I haven't been caught yet. All of my dealings with clients are under the table though (Venmo or cash). Venmo is probably too easy to trace, but it is so rusting convenient. I am willing to sacrifice a bit of privacy for convenience.
  22. Well I ran some statistical tests, and conclude that there is insufficient evidence to show that the sword vote will not yield a result different than 100%. This is extrapolating from your single data point. Further testing will be needed.
  23. I have never posted on this thread before...but You don't have to pay taxes if you're under 18 and self-employed!! (well maybe you do have to, and I just don't? Good thing the IRS can't connect my 17th shard account to real me.) 7 months and 10 days until I must enter the cruel world that is adulthood.
  24. At long last! I have finished chapter one. My life is too rustin' busy, but I have found a few minutes here and there to write fiction. Without further ado Let me know what you think. I greatly appreciate any comments or criticism.
  25. Storm it, I'm not very good at this. In the two games I have played I have been village, the village has lost, I almost get myself executed through my stupidity, and never even suspect any of the eliminators. But that's okay. It was fun. Eventually someday in the far future I will get good at this.
