    Ohhhhhh the good old highstorm patch, I remember that one. So I’ve been brainstorming what to do for my chicken project to become a senior scout. I was thinking teaching some Parshman to read? Or maybe build some chull carts and donate them?

    *Ahem* This thread is for... well I think you guessed it, Common problems! Got your earbuds in a knot cause you’re to cheap for AirPods? That one place on the sidewalk where you always stub your toe? Used a paper straw and it disintegrated in your mouth and you want to ask for a proper straw but ya know, save the turtles and all. (All may be based on true events) We’ve all spent half an hour figuring out someone else’s shower, but have you ever spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to turn on someone’s sink? Ya. That may or may not have been my inspiration for this thread, who knows.

    The new one! I haven’t seen the old one yet. I get hardcore judgement stares from my family when I watch it though. They always seem to walk in during the informational part and never the action scenes.

    Holy crap DramaQueen do you have a 6th sense or something? Uh yes I have! I was really little and walking behind the floats with all the other toddlers at like a 4th of July parade I think and I wondered off and got lost and wandered for like half an hour before I ran into my grandma. I mean that's how I remember it. The person below me has a memory that might actually have been a dream but at this point you don't really know.

    For me Amaram is [uh-mar-am] yes yes I know, I'm wrong. The first time I read his name I read it [A-muh-ram] but I thought that was stupid and that no one else would read it like that so I convinced myself it was Uh-mar-am and its to late to go back.

    Water Cycle on Roshar

    Okay, Its probably a dumb question, But how do Highstorms get their water? Highstorms completely flood the Shattered plains, which take weeks to walk across, chasms spanning from 40-100 or more feet deep. They continue all the way across Roshar, raining the entire way, and they come every few days. If Roshar follows the water cycle, which I assume it does, there simply isn't enough time for that much water to evaporate between Highstorms, right? Not to mention The Weeping, which is two weeks of continual rain, and the Everstorm, which doesn't always have rain but still.

    Okay, Question time. Does anyone have the setting turned on where is tells you if people you follow post new content? Wouldn’t that get... annoying?

      I have email notifications, but I never check those.

      So, I have Shard notifications, which I do get when someone I follow posts something. I largely ignore those, although sometimes not.

      Then, I have email notifications, which are for the stuff I want to pay attention to, and I check all of those/archive them when I know I've read them.

      yeahhhh..... had those on for a bit but got annoying pretty fast. Especially if you follow a bunch of people. Super up to you tho especially with the two systems of email and Shard notifications.

      For me, I have all email notifications off cuz I'd rather just log in and check for notifications than have to check my email to then come here (I also never looked at them lol). Then for the ones on here I do as Condensation does and leave status updates and things I follow on (+ mentions, quotes, follows, etc.). 

      I also do the auto follow for things I post to because generally if I'm posting I want to know how the rest of the convo goes and just makes it super easy. Then, I just remove topics that hath kaputted every once in a while.
