Jay led Aryanna, Cadenza, and Lloyd off the ship. This was frustrating. They needed to leave and get out of here, but Janice was still locked up and it seemed like that wasn't going to change. "I think the best bet is to wait and talk to military command about letting Janice go. There's got to be an admiral or something around here we can get to. In the meantime, we need a place to stay. I'll take a look in town."

Chrysler, placing runes around the castle, looked up at the sound of clashing claws and saw a figure leap upward into the night. She started to work more quickly -
Your friend Kane has some kind of plan, I presume? I will not allow you to be experimented on or changed back. Once everyone gets to the topdeck, Jay says "All right, I have a contact with someone who might be able to cure Janice. He's currently in Amaria, but that's our only chance..."

Crimson_Storm looked at the strange ad. He'd been on the Shard quite a while, but only as a lurker. His other forums and online activities used up much of his time online. This looked a lot like a scam ad you'd see elsewhere, but the Shard didn't have things like that. He filled out the questions semi-randomly. It's not like any of that was his real info anyway, so what was the worst that could happen?

Jay finished a call on his Scry and looked out over the ship's rails. The mainland was close. He went belowdecks to try and find his friends before they docked.
