Chrysler and Vale walk in. "I could certainly teach some basics, but I definitely don't have enough dust to power up a whole squadron. And it would take me weeks to make that much and enough to set up a ward around the castle. I was going to tell you guys it was going to take a day or so to get enough dust for a full ward anyway."

Vale pokes his head back into the tent. "Chrysler says she'll need any soldiers with artistic talent and some chalk, but she can do it"

"Well, it does stuff like... that. Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's not. But my Talent is bad puns. My dad's is forgetting the word for things. I have a cousin who has the Talent of burning food. Wierd stuff like that." Behind her, Chrysler finishes the glyph and the tree starts changing back. "Got it!"

She smiles and looks embarrassed. "I've got a Talent, but it's a little... unpredictable"

Chrysler controls her laugher. "Don't worry, I think I can fix it." She goes up to the tee and starts drawing a very complex glyph on it.

Chrysler is trying to hold back a laugh. Moria moans. "Sorry, the puns... they just slip out sometimes"

She shrugs. "Well, I like the rain. It's like the sky decided to sing a sad song." She stops for a moment, pensive, and then smiles again and starts walking ahead. "Well, let's get on with it!"

"Good to meet you as well. Null told me something like "even though this is non-canon, I still want you to meet them", whatever that means." She laughs. "Still, looks like fun. I've heard of Christmas in the Hushlands. Something about putting presents under fine tees-oops, I mean pine trees. Oh darn it." The tree everyone's pushing starts to change into a golf tee about the same size. But it is very fine.

A dent appeared in the blast doors, as if a car had smashed into it. The doors shake again, and then again, but less and less powerful each time until they stop.

"On it." Vale gets up and walks out of the tent to get Chrysler

Jay sends out a wave of force at the soldiers, deflecting the bullets and knocking a number of them down, then sends a wave at a nearby building, knocking out some of the supports as it starts to topple over.
