    Mavet laughed at this. He'd already seen three such clumps along the way. These Forescouts sure were strange folks. They could find a single tree in the forest but couldn't tell anyone where that tree was. "You better not get us lost Cain. The cargo is only good if it is delivered on time" Interesting analysis @Elkanah. I find nothing entirely objectable about your immediate thoughts on the uses of items. For taking the lead of the party you may find some opposition but for day 1 I will stick back and make sure nothing goes crazy.

    These forests... walking through them felt like visiting death itself. Maybe that’s where we were? Maybe this accursed island was not the haven everyone thought it was. Mavet stifled those thoughts. They would do him no good if he was caught unawares. The other members of this party were mostly strangers. Some he recognized, but that wasn’t surprising. There really weren’t many new faces in the forest...

    Wow that’s a dangerous accusation. I don’t know if I would’ve claimed to have a PM with him and didn’t. I didn’t learn anything insightful from it. It was a bunch of RP. The anonymous nature of it makes it seem questionable. Also, if two people raise their voices about a PM with Elkanah I would be surprised. It’s a silly move by the elims. I resent the guilt trip allegations because I’ve made peace with dying. I can understand why you would see it that way though. The Will wasn’t meant to guilt trip it was meant to be analysis with a bit of RP. Also it was in case I became basically censured for the rest of the cycle and useful for the end of the cycle. If that’s holding you back, do yourself a favor and vote for me. I’m not stopping you. I’ve even voted for myself!     I won’t change anyone’s opinion. I think I’ve dug a little too deep for myself to get out of. Best reasoning from what I see, there are two reasons I’m being lynched. Also Please don’t tell me to chill. Notice time stamps. It’s been a night since I last posted something angry and I find it incredibly unhelpful and not a good method to calm someone down. Even a smiley face doesn’t lighten a slap to the face 1- I supported a jail instead of lynch. As outlined probably half a dozen times and across multiple D1s in the games I have played I don’t support a lynch day one. Apparently I’m wrong . This jail mechanism is a bit silly but I supported it and no one else does. The argument stems from a difference in Meta opinions which I don’t think validate me as an elim. It would be foolish to openly support jail as an elim because it would paint a target. I wasn’t thinking as an elim because I’m not so I didn’t realize this 2- I supported Elkanah, I supported him after he was basically lynched. A serious miscalculation for an elim. I didn’t jump on his bandwagon but I realize it probably would’ve saved me. I’ve stated why: my continued support until the end was meant to save someone who I enjoyed playing with

    I’m saying his reasoning does have some base to it. He’s wrong but all I’ve done is cement my guilt in the eyes of everyone. Mostly I’ve conceded the point because it seems that I have rubbed everyone wrong. I believe I’m being tunneled pretty hard. When I do die, take heed to my will. I may not be 100% right but it might prove some good insight edit: to avoid double post, also note I changed one word in the Will. It was a typo. Reason to reasons.

Some feudal wars would do these people some good for their manners. ”this, you’re my witness”, he handed her the paper. ”this won’t make it official, I’m not a notary” ”I figured you weren’t but I’m a sucker for paper trails!” He got the signature and walked into the middle of the room.     @Straw ... the reason I don’t throw anyone under is because I have no suspicions. Joe is throwing me under hard so I’m suspicious of him but as it was established earlier voting on someone for voting on you is an elim move. Here are my defense points- Bandwagon were obviously against Sart when it turned against Elkanah. The same bandwagon seemed to swing pretty quickly. Not enough to condemn anyone specific but it should have raised suspicions The reason I defended Elkanah is because I had an enjoyable PM with him. Guess you can’t play an SE game without having all the joy sucked out. Too bad he was an elim if he wasn’t I would’ve enjoyed chatting, that would have been a fun distraction from this Im confused on where my ad hominem is. I haven’t insulted his personality or tried to drag him under as a player. I pointed out that he was especially vicious against my contributions D1. (He went line by line and commented heavily on my contributions) In regards to me pointing out ego he even said he was potential digging things up on me because my opinion on game play rubbed him wrong. Maybe not ego but definitely retaliation (which is fair but let’s say what it really is) i guess I’m contrary to the meta of the game. I will adjust and not post D1 anymore. It causes more trouble than it’s worth. I literally have to deal with something like this every game.

    I can't stay out of this. Joe... You have continually belittled me. You have attacked everything I said line by line. You did this for everyone but you added especially derogatory dialogue to my lines. I don't have the time to do that for you because I really don't care that much. I tried to be active D1. A mistake I will never make again. I tried to create a good argument instead of rolling over to the will of experienced players. I stuck to my guns on a jail instead of a kill. I have never liked lynching D1 because I feel it robs a player of playing. This is especially poignant for a long game. Also I was upset about the codes I think I made that abundantly clear but I figured that they would eventually be decoded. Funny enough Straw could have decoded them well before they were stopped (at least most of them). I know you haven't played with me but why would I play my hand so heavy? edit: how many times have I stated why I prefer jail over lynch? I feel I said it at least once on D1 and N1

    I don't think there's anything I can say to not be suspicious. Considering that all D1 was bandwagons switching between people has me profoundly confused. Add to that, people chewing out me and Coda for code made D1 rather unenjoyable and I'm a bit irritated. I'll be excusing myself for the rest of the night to cool off.

    Well, I appreciate the consistency even if your voting for me due to a hurt ego. I imagine several of you realize I'm right. Literally you guys have taken away the two components of the game I have enjoyed most so I might be a little bitter. I figure someone will have to stick out their neck to protect me but that won't happen haha well considering I said one thing you have a really good grasp of my whole life.     Hiding behind a couch was only comfortable for so long. The coast was probably clear so he finally left. Walking around the halls was a bit odd but strangely they were empty. Maybe the tourist had made a ruckus. conveniently a door was open. It was one of those annoying doors that were locked unless you had a flashy key card. He walked in. It led to what looked like some behind the scenes rooms. Definitely off the standard tour routes. There wasn’t much there. A couple files that were filled with rather mundane states secrets, a convenient jacket and strangely a pair of shoes. Who would leave these lying around? Putting the jacket on and switching out shoes was simple and made him look much more dignified. The jacket even had one of those annoying key cards in it! What luck. Now to blend in with everyone else.

    Wow that changes thing. I’ll be open that I had a PM with him. It appears that I may have been a bit blind because our funny chats actually made the game a ton of fun. I don’t agree with the insanity that was the flip on the lynch and I imagine everyone who turned once he has obviously jailed should be held suspect a bit. There was no reason to really suspect him and they may be elims who jumped on the band wagon (another crystal night possibly). I also think that I’ll probably die for defending my D1 thoughts but I don’t change my opinion because of luck.

It looks like there may be some information in the people too willing to kill someone for the sin of voting on a bandwagon, which all of you did. Let’s see what happens! It’s day one. There is literally no other reason to vote on someone

    This Sart bandwagon feels way off. The reasoning is generally bad. I understand choosing someone to lynch but maybe say that instead of pretending to lynch to protect someone

    It was just him throwing part of my code back into the mix. It didn’t read out to anything because where he chose to copy from was from the middle of one of the ASCII conversions if we removed the bad numbers at the start it would just repeat part of something I said
