  1. lynching a villager makes any lynch seem suspect. The biggest thing was you and Kidpen voting near the end of the cycle with little discussion. Honestly, you would probably be viewed potentially elim either way.
  2. Here are my suspicions: all three who voted on Coda. @Elkanah@Kidpen@Abstrusity Abstrusity was the initial vote so I'm a little less worried. Kidpen was the second vote and I feel the most suspicious towards them. Breaking the tie was an interesting move. Elkanah has me worried but less so than Kidpen. His continual posting and trying to encourage conversation also relieves some suspicions. His reasoning to vote isn't perfect and I'm actually feeling he jumped on specifically for the chits. Outside of this all my suspicions are very wobbly and don't deserve much attention, yet. everyone else has been quiet and I know if that doesn't change several inactives will get lynched in the next couple cycles. This is unfortunate and lack of information or participation is the surest way that the elim team wins.
  3. I don’t think this clears anyone role-wise. Both the first citizens are an active role so they could have chosen to not use their action. I believe that first citizens would be more eager to vote (to take advantage of their free action) and heirs wouldn’t be narrowed out at all. personally, a tie would’ve been very interesting. It would have led to a very interesting vote negation/addition scenario we would’ve had to untangle. This day one lynch was probably the worst option for the village because we have no leads, no trust, and very little accusations. I assume at least one of the lynchers is an elim but that doesn’t help our odds overall. I am rping cobb so I feel he would cut through all the charades. I am a bountiful gunner and probably the only one. I put that out there because I feel that is tactical knowledge that can be shared. I put myself in harms way. This does not prove I am elim or village though and I hope it helps get some conversation going.
  4. Cobb walked around Alta. Where is everybody? He thought. The base was mostly empty. Save for a few cadets and cleaning staff the base seemed abandoned. After the Disputer attack, people would have been fearful to come out into the open. He expected better of the DDF. Blast it! We’ve reverted to what we were before the battle of Alta, he thought angrily. This base was still new and people were finding their footing on the surface but they still had a tendency to hide as soon as trouble came. They were defiant! Or so that’s what they were told. He didn’t believe any of that warrior nonsense that was eaten up by the other pilots but that didn’t change his view on being a coward! That word echoed in his head and memories of the battle of Alta flooded in. He stopped for a second, then continued walking, trying to chase the nightmares out of his head. His limp seemed to get worse as he continued down the hall. seriously, where is everybody? I feel a bit lonely!
  5. Cobb looked over the casualty report on the last battle. The battle had gone poorly. The Krell seemed to know that the DDF was barely holding together. 4 of his cadets had been killed by the Krell. Why can’t they give me a week to train them before sending them up! Cobb thought, most didn’t even know how to fly in a straight line yet. Putting aside those thoughts he turned his attention to a paper on his desk. Out of habit he almost tore it up without looking at it but noticed it wasn’t encoded. He picked it up. On the front was a request for a report from Ironsides about the training group. They would recover, but they would probably never be the same. Attached was an action report of last nights arrest, Nothing had been found to incriminate them. Why had so many authorities pushed to arrest this poor soul? The evidence was scant at best and suspect at worst, even in a time of war justice had to be carried out correctly. for those of you who didn’t read my RP Why did so many people vote on Coda? I can understand a small majority but having three votes seems like an interesting change from our 5 way tie@Elkanah @Kidpen @Abstrusity
  6. I made a mistake and RPed with a vote. I’m not new to mafia (just forum mafia and RPing ) so I’m not totally out of the loop but lesson learned. Also I’m adamantly opposed to day one lynch but I got in a lot of trouble last game for opposing it so I decidedly to try to switch which also failed.
  7. I didn't even notice he had a vote, to be honest! I feel like voting on him because I RPed despising the code was a pretty good reason edit: to be honest I was having a bit of fun. First-time role-playing!!! Elkanah
  8. haha he started the whole speaking in code! Cobb walked into his office to see stacks upon stacks of encrypted papers. Memos filled with random letters, papers written in something called morse, and official military documents that had to be decrypted with something called an "Enigma Machine". Curse this paranoia! Cobb thought, I need a drink! I did it mostly for flavor
  9. Well due to the hell that Elkanah has raised, I feel this may be necessary@Elkanah
  10. Cobb stepped out of the classroom. Another batch of cadets, waiting for their time to die. What were we even fighting for anymore? Cobb thought as he limped to his office. Those scudding Disputers, what were they thinking? If we didn't defend ourselves from the Krell then we would all be killed. We couldn't live like roaches anymore. With all the flaws of the DDF, it was the best hope we had to survive. Cobb sat down at his desk and saw a piece of paper written in what was obviously code. "Scudding spies!!" He exclaimed and tore the paper to shreds. He didn't have time to play mind games. Now to focus on the task at hand. These disrupters weren't worth the time we were spending. We needed more resources for flying and training not for dealing with people whose feelings were hurt that surviving meant that people died. Once we won the war then we could work on being "democratic"
  11. I’m in! I’ve enjoyed these books! I’ll role play as Cobb callsign Mongrel
  12. I think strikers last second vote is definitely an elim trying to jump on as the final vote on a kill. I can’t let that go away
  13. well I’m dead. I can’t convince you guys that I’m not an elim. It’s interesting how quick I got thrown under and very suspicious
  14. I’m trying to figure out what evidence is against me outside of me voting with the group. If anything I’m pretty suspicious of Striker because he was Elkanahs second choice for elim. I’m going to stick to my guns and hope someone can explain why I’m suspicious. I’ve done what most of you have done (actually I’ve been more consistent that most).
  15. I’m sorry about not posting! I’ve been digesting this information and ended up out of action for a little bit (homework and a bit of a headache) I didn’t want to make any rash jumps because I’m not necessarily trusted as of yet. I’m unsure who an elim is but based on some thoughts ive heard I believe Devotary might be an elim. I’m willing to take this leap of faith and trust @Elkanah
  16. Due to the bit of the mess that this cycle of voting is I will publicly abstain. I’m too unsure about who is an elim to stick my neck out on any vote
  17. I was wondering what your evidence was for both of those votes. It just seems a bit random
  18. After Elkanahs last post I’m starting to agree this is some plot by the elims to spin us in circles. They’re probably biding their time waiting for us to pick each other off
  19. @Elkanah I’m going to stand behind what I said. I made three posts and everyone thought I was a traitor. One figuring out what the heck was going on, one defending a rng lynch and another defending that post. If people suspected me for anything else then I don’t what it was! There’s my defensive side. Preservation preserve me! (Oh wait wrong world haha) Offense time. Elkanah you’ve been switching votes faster than a caffeinated squirrel, you’re definitely pulling a bunch of strings in the PMs and your vote last round was suspect. anyone who voted for venture is up for grabs but everyone’s reasoning was so different it will take some time to weed out any elims in that group, and I have no one I suspect even though there are at least 2 people on the elim team. @StrikerEZ voted with CadCom so he’s probably in the clear. the reason I’m so defensive is that I’m getting a second to breath. I feel that everyone’s, “Oh TGK said this first round with 5 minutes left. He gets violently turned down but holds his ground on his stance. He must be evil!” The quote is definitely not real but describes my situation a bit and should explain my frustration edit fixed a word
  20. Yea... no message got passed along. So you probably should’ve waited to throw that in my face. I didn’t defend kidpen the first day I just didn’t like the random nature of his death. It was good he was an elim or Elkanah would've probably been lynched because he swung the vote. As I’ve said before I could have saved him with a vote but I didn’t. This doesn’t clear me but it doesn’t solidify my guilt either There’s no reason to vote for you because you’re either infinitely cunning or not a traitor. I don’t have any suspicions at the moment and I’m still working out some stuff. edit fixed grammar
  21. I voted for Venture because he was wanting to target me. I can’t say if he’s an elim or not but it’s more of a self preservation vote
  22. Y’know I figure I’d finally vote. Trying to stay reasonable doesn’t seem to work. Butt Ad Venture
  23. Okay too be honest I hate when people get arbitrary killed. It’s awesome he was an evil librarian! Good work all. If possible I would’ve seen how the day developed without voting and no one would have died (especially since the game seems geared for a lot of protection the first round at least to my interpretation of the rules). Sorry I’m a bit new and it took a while for the rules to sink in fully. I did not vote. I could have brought the vote to a tie and made it random chance but I decided if either was an elim that was a terrible thing to do. So I let Elkanah make the deciding vote. I imagine I’ll probably get lynched tonight for sticking my neck out because that’s how games like this works. I don’t have any real suspicions at the time but I believe Elkanah and CadCom are cleared. I figure I’m number one on most peoples list for who’s a elim.
  24. I was hoping to start a quick discussion but it’s the last couple minutes. I feel the odds he’s a elim are bad but I’ll take how the dice fell if he is one. We might be killing an innocent man
  25. While random seemed a bit barbaric, killing someone outright with no evidence is so much worse.
