Lander Hornraven, the best duke in the world, arrived at the town expecting cheers. He was very disappointed. Didn't these people know nobility when they saw it? Didn't they have any respect? Nevermind them, they are simple peasants anyway. He looks for the nearest place to relax and sees a bar nearby. This would work. Lander strolls into the bar and was yet again disappointed. Seriously? these people did not care about him at all. He would change that in a matter of days. He would be the hero of this town. Lander approaches the bartender and says in his best suave voice, or maybe it was just weird. Voices are difficult to manage. Anyway, He asks the bartender "I would request an ale and some information"

"well... I know that most people do not like them, but I don't mind them. They are different just like I am different. I do know that they are a mix of animal and human and that they have minds that influence each other. I suppose I don't know too much about them."

"I wish to help in any way possible"

"and how is that?" My wish was granted wasn't it? he mentally tells his avian friend

"I just want an eventful life and to be a part of something big. Nothing more."

"well, I suppose I do have some advice on this matter. Find out why it is escalating. Find out the reason you aren't. Find a way to adapt and just keep trying. You may sink into the abyss, but most abysses aren't as deep as one would think. After all, even the fact that you are sinking is a good sign because it indicates that movement is possible and that it is possible to rise up."

"Crumbling? In which way?" this was very different from Fie's last conversation a month ago, that had been with some drunk guy who wanted some cheese. Fie felt craving for more information.

"My name is Fie" Fie examines the mans smiling face from the eyes of his parrot. Maybe this was the one in a million who actually cared?

ok, so the "Manipulation of distance/space- Can redefine distance, make one foot into a mile or a mile into one foot." ability seems very strange of the basic physics of it. So, If you were to make one foot a mile, and then walk partway through, and then cancel the ability what would happen? I need more information before I can comment more on this ability.
