  1. Thank you!!! I'm so glad I get to help and include people, it makes me feel good when other people feel good! I loved getting to introduce you to more of the Shard, you're pretty dang amazing yourself. Why, thank you! I like to think so, but I think @Doomstick deserves the 'grammatical acumen' part as well. You are quite wise and experienced, you've been a huge help at times and just an awesome person to RP with at others. Thanks so much! (I don't know how you can speak for my beauty, which is close to nonexistent, but thanks!) I love your willingness to dive right in. No hesitation!
  2. Both work. I would say clung, but *shrugs*. Amazing, Fish! Good job!
  3. I agree. I agree wholeheartedly. Banana bread and zucchini bread are also good, but not as good.
  4. Concerto ran down the stairs, avoiding the creaky ones. As he ran into the main room, he ran into someone who, startled, flipped him over their shoulder and made him hit his head on the floor. As his vision cleared, he found himself staring at his sister. "Wha--how did you get here?" Chorale glared at her brother. "We escaped. No thanks to you! You couldn't even spare the time to get us out before running to do..." Shoot, what's he doing here? Don't ask me, I don't know him at all! "Whatever you're doing here?" Concerto stood sheepishly before realizing that she wasn't the one who held the power here. He was, and he was older as well. He straightened. "It's nothing pertaining to you, little sister." Vivace grinned. "Nope, sorry. Try again!" Concerto did a double take. "The leopard? Obviously it's worse than I thought it would be. We need to work on that, but first we're getting out of here." "Work on what?" asked Chorale. "We're a team. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?" "Definitely not. However, I did notice that the amber eyed animals seemed smarter and harder for the tests to overcome. That's beside the point, though. We're getting out of here, and then we're figuring your mess out." "Whatever you say, big brother," said Vivace, sarcasm evident in her voice. "Now, follow us. We know the way out of here." She exited the building and took a left, obviously expecting Concerto to follow. Concerto rubbed his chin thoughtfully, then followed. He would have jogged out in front, but it was obvious that the leopard had a huge chip on her shoulder. Best to leave it be until he could shove it off.
  5. Chorale nodded and reached down with the key, unlocking her cell door. She swung it open and stepped out, smiling from ear to ear. I'm back in the game. And this time, I'm more ready than ever. You mean because you have me? Yes. As long as we can work together, this partnership will work for both of us. Works for me. Vivace took a moment to inspect Concerto's cell: nothing. She began following his scent trail, stealthily walking through the settlement. It eventually led her to a building near the center of the settlement, where the leader would have had an office along with his house. Chorale swung open the door and looked around the main room.
  6. Vivace reacted without thinking, shooting her hand forward and just barely getting a grip on the key. Hey, you were supposed to be coming up with a plan! objected Chorale from Vivace's conscious. Vivace did the mental equivalent of blushing and withdrew. Chorale grinned and pulled her arm back in. "I'll wait until you're long gone, but I'm not very patient. I'd suggest you go a little faster. And... thanks."
  7. "That sounds like it would be great, Fad." Daolan smiled and winked at Fadran.
  8. Strategy stated afterwards. It's the third quote you used, I think. Forcing a lynch? How would they do that? I mean, especially without looking suspicious when I'm a Loyal Regular and Hemalurgist. What's playing the Meta? Also, you can't know what the elims would or should do unless you know who the elims are because everyone has a different playing style.
  9. "All right." This means that she thinks we'll meet again and that she won't want to be recognized by me. Can you figure something out for if we see her again? Sure, I'll work on it. You know I'm better at that then you. Just remember that you can always go back on this. I know. Chorale reached out cautiously. It was never good to immediately trust someone.
  10. I'm going to challenge this because I know I'm not an elim. How do we know that you're not an elim using this exact strategy to get people to lynch me? I'm fairly certain that you pointed out previously that if I wasn't NKed then I would be elim, which was quickly shot down by two people(one of which was me, but...) because it's unreasonable. I've never been an elim so I don't know what strategies I would take, but I've been thinking it through to see who I think might be an elim and that seems like what I would do. You know, point out something that the elims would 'certainly' do and then if it doesn't happen then we need to lynch this person. "If that strategy isn't thought of, then we can night-kill someone else and the villagers will lynch this other villager for us." Sorry, it just seems off to me. Also, has anyone else noticed that there's one vote on each of the Water Sisters? Just something funny I noticed.
  11. Vivace smirked, then reconsidered. "Is there a reason why?" She looked carefully at what Jane was holding.
  12. "It depends on the favor, but ask away."
  13. That's very true. So right now it's not as important to protect the Hemalurgists, it's more important to find and protect villagers/find and lynch elims?
  14. Okay. And the other win is if . . . shoot. If the HI dies and the villagers vote out an elim.
  15. Okay. Normal win like having more than the villagers?
  16. Chorale cursed silently. She had been sure she was on the verge of getting out. It's all right, we'll get out of here soon. I think I have a plan. Okay, I'll trust you. "Fortunate for you. For Kade, too."
  17. "Very unfortunate. I don't suppose that could happen, though, as the prison guard didn't leave the key. You know, like you said earlier."
  18. "Depends on the situation once I got out. Eventually, yes. I don't think I'd have a choice, he seems to have it in for me.
  19. "Makes sense. Not much I can do to act while stuck in this cage, though." I can probably get out of here, but if she helps me out it'll go faster. Then I can go find Concerto and get out of here. Maybe after I cause a bit more chaos.
  20. "I don't trust many people anymore. It's not conforming, it's reacting in the best way I know to betrayal." Concerto set down the books he had been looking through as he heard footsteps outside his - no, Kade's - office. He hadn't found anything useful, but it was time to go back and get out of here. Hopefully with his sister, annoying as she could be. He looked through the door's crack, but none of his senses picked up anything untoward, so he slipped out. @I Am A Fish
  21. But the HI can't die from a lynch, and we probably don't want the elims to know who it is. Right? Because then they can collaborate and the HI knows who they can trust with all of their role-scanning info.(They can role-scan, right? I seem to remember that.)
  22. See, but if we lynch Mist and she survives, isn't that not what we want? Then we know that she's the HI, but the elims can be certain that she is. I think it's probably best to leave well enough alone for now and focus on someone else.
  23. "No one that didn't abandon me first." Chorale lost herself in thought momentarily, flashes of betrayals passing through her mind.
  24. Okay, hmm. Then no one could/would confirm my claim if I went on and did that.
  25. Oh, can I do that? Like, get on the doc(I haven't been on in a while, yikes!) and say something like "Hey, this is Connie. I'm H6! And you already knew that because I claimed on the thread!"? Then other Hemalurgists could confirm. Has anyone else claimed? I forget.
