Minuet turned and faced the elves with a grim smile.

Crescendo washed her hands and rolled up her sleeves, not bothering with an apron. "Okay, you ready? Which kind do we want to make?"

"Like I'd do that." Isati smirked and looked along the sides of the hole for a way out.

Andante popped into existence again next to a tree and leaned against it. "Whoof!"

Minuet began running through the forest. She held back, though, to hide her ability. Or at least, that's what she told herself. "Yes, but none readily accessible. I'll stick with my hands. I'll be fine."

"Yeah, she can get that way. She didn't start that way, but I think it might be her natural personality."

"Ah... you too?" Alienor walked out the door.

"Right. And if you would find those answers, it would be much appreciated." Alienor smiled awkwardly.

"What about your back?" Cadenza asked, but it was too late. "Never mind, I guess."

"My strategy seems to be working," Andante said.

"More accurately, is the mess cleaned up? I know we have a kitchen."

"You know, that might have been a little complicated for a beginner."

"I believe I'll... go learn my way around, then."

"Hide? Hide where?" Minuet said, gesturing to the area around them. "They'll obviously hear you climbing a tree."

Cadenza was standing to the side, keeping watch on them without letting them know. She had conjured an ice chair and now sat in it nonchalantly.
