Twenty seconds later he managed to assemble the entire thing, then he breathed in and harnessed his inner energy, as he was taught. He barely leaned out from behind his cover, trained his aim on the lightning demon, and fired three sniper blasts. @Channelknight Fadran "That's how it's done," Cruz whispered, taking cover again, the barrel of his rifle already warm from the blasts.

“Sorry about that silly child,” said Stephen, “We try to keep him under control.”

“Magic portal,” said Konrig. He pointed at Fadran, who had gathered them there.

“Relaaax,” said Lane, “It’s not even that bad.” ”LANE!” Stephen roared, marching over to him. “Shoot,” Lane cursed, then disappeared in a flash of light. The spatula fell to the ground. “Little beasts. And people.”

The Rubik's cube exploded in Trevor's face. "A sword," said Konrig. "A weapon of the most fine steel. Hast not thou heard of one before?"

Lane threw his Rubik's cube at Trevor. "Here, you can have that until I'm done." "Lane," said Ghostfire, stepping over to where this was happening, turning his head to Lane, his expressionless robotic head making an almost imperceptible whir as it did so. "Don't terrorize the poor man." "Ah, he's lying, can't you see? Wait, you're a robot. Of course you can't." "I'm not a robot," Ghostfire corrected. "Fine, then pass one of those tests and I'll believe you." Konrig pulled out his sword and began examining his reflection. A small square red mark was left on his forehead. He groaned.

Lane walked back and plucked the spatula out of his hands, then slapped King Konrig in the face with it. "Your Breath to me, your Breath become mine!" he shouted. Kelly stepped forward. "Actually, it's 'my life to yours. My breath become yours.' And it works the other way." Konrig rubbed his nose as Lane began tossing the spatula into the air and catching it again.

He raised an eyebrow. "Then you shouldn't have a problem with giving it to me."

"I know of no creature by that description," Professor X said, "Must be from a different universe. I'm afraid you're stuck in this one, now."

Professor X's eyes lit up. "Creature hunting? I've hunted some legendary ones before. Perhaps give a description?"

"Konrig," said Konrig, "King of Osia, savior of the universe. I ask of thee, might I see thine serving device with mine own eyes?"

The king blinked. Again. "Who are you again?" "Good day," said Stephen, stepping forward. "This is the meeting of the multiversal Fellowship. Of the Thing. An area of very high multiversal activity."
