Of Ravens, Potions, and Cauldrons
Knight of Iron replied to Zephrun’s Imperium's topic in Roleplaying
Audette gasped in surprise and glanced over towards the path. Kavin was back again, so soon? Had it really been that long since he’d last been here? She often lost track of time, but she felt she was checked on way too often. Her hair was a mess, and her arms caked in dirt from her day’s worth of planting, but she was never one to care for appearances. “Greetings, Kavin.” -
Orpheus walked back to the tower alongside Owlson, and found himself a room to sleep for the night. He didn’t want anyone to be near him, now his secret was out. The demon that lived inside him. But he also couldn’t help thinking about what Zanidar had said about the world ending.
-
Cruz glared. “Glad to see you too. Now, good luck using those swords against that speed demon there. I doubt even icy floors would do much.”

“Ah,” Kelly said, “I haven’t been gone for relatively long, but I don’t really have any idea of what is going on now.” Ghostfire nodded at the Jedi, seeming very pleased by this answer. “Truly, you are a wise Jedi. Everything around us, from the stars in the sky to the rocks beneath our feet is attuned to the Force.” He paused. “I have had a bit of training in the Jedi ways, long ago, but was kicked out by nature of what I am. Forgive the intrusion.”

“‘Kay, ice lady, I don’t know your name. Heck, I’m not even sure I got Janet’s name right. Point is, I’m still alive! I’ve been hiding for so long!”

“Oh, yes, ice lady!” Cruz cried excitedly, happy to have recognized someone. “Sorry for forgetting your name. It’s me, remember? Cruz? I’m alive!”

“I lived alone for a year or so, once,” Stefan said quietly, “In the Canadian wilderness, for my training. It was very quiet. And you, despite your slightly primitive ways, are still quite interesting. I’ve never heard of any world with creatures like you describe, yet you ride one! Channel it’s strength! It’s all about perspective. I’d always thought my life was boring.”
-
“Very impressive,” Kelly smiled, a glint in his eye as he remembered the spikes he had back at the hub. He’d keep these Metalborn in mind should any one of them turn evil and he had to, say, kill one of them. “You must be from the old times. I’m from around 300 years after the Catacandre... if that word means anything to you...” Ghostfire, unable to recognize any of the Jedi or Sith, concluded they must be from the far future or the far past. These, then, had not yet discovered his people. “If you don’t mind me asking a very philosophical question, what really is the Force, in your eyes. Forgive me, it had been a while since I’ve seen someone from my world.” Stefan sat beside him. “Been quite the day, I’m sure. Don’t worry, we can get you home eventually.”
-
Cruz got within shouting range. “Hey! Uh, Janet! Janet’s friends! It’s me, remember? Where’s Trace?”

Kelly looked over with a start to find several others standing in similar mistcloaks. He immediately got the impression that, though he was an Iron Compounder, these were like the Allomancers of ancient days. Ghostfire turned and walked over to Crispin, eyeing the reinforcements warily. He had stolen his Beskar from a Mandalorian, so he tried to conceal his plate. “How do you get both Jedi and Sith to work together without destroying one another?” “I got a ball for giant legendaries...” Professor X rubbed his chin. “We could try it, for sure.”
-
"It is, of course, in a different reality than this one. This," Professor X held up a small wand, "Is the secret to our flashes of green light. Currently it's programmed to take us back and forth from here and our hub, but once we're at the hub we can reprogram it to mine." "I have no idea what you've just said," came a voice—Stephen. "But it sounds cool! I'm Stephen, Lord of Iaron. This is my sword, Levi." He held up his sword, which just looked like a normal sword.

The sun began to set, and the sky became a brilliant dome of many colors—shades of blue, and of orange, and of purple. Orpheus stood, head bowed low, as the last of the dirt was thrown back into place. "It's best we be getting off to bed," he said after several minutes, his voice gravelly. "We leave before the sun rises." @Tani

"I think it'd be best if we head over to where my friends are," Cruz said, then dashed across the beach towards the boardwalk where they stood. @Flaming Coinshoot

Of Ravens, Potions, and Cauldrons
Knight of Iron replied to Zephrun’s Imperium's topic in Roleplaying
Her shovel hit the ground with a dull thud, and she pulled the handle downward with a small shink of the soft, damp dirt. Audette lifted the dirt out into a pile as she continued to dig trenches for her year's plot of potatoes. As she worked, humming a song to herself, her mind drifted to the plotting of her writings. Stories of kingdoms, of romance, of adventure, and of death. Once her trench was finished, she began placing cut pieces of potato face down, using her stride to measure the correct distance apart. The day grew warmer, but thankfully the breeze remained. Still, it wasn't long before she had to make a trip to the creek to fetch a pail of water. -
So... we have: - Earth Crew ( Ayia, Queen (?), Martin, Craven, and little shapeshifting Ely ) - Dax Crew ( Merl, Professor X ) - Wyrn Crew ( Crispin's entire scudding army ) - Witherlord Crew ( Jeffrey, Ashley ) - Clan of Fenon ( Fadran ) - Rish Crew ( Nath ) I'll sort a few of my Knights into the mix in a bit. With that recap, let us hash out the details. Probably we shouldn't try to do all Crews at once, but select a few to tackle first.
