  1. “Ah, yeah, we kind of take the ability to convert physical matter into energy for efficient storage is a feat taken for granted aim my world and rarely seen in any other application of technology. I mostly just study magic,” Professor X added, “But I’ve looked at Pokeballs a fair bit, too.” “Destiny arrives all the same,” Ghostfire pondered. “The multiverse is gathering forces of good, but also of evil.”
  2. Ghostfire, who had been remaining characteristically silent, stood up from the corpse he was examining. "Then perhaps it was by some grand design you ended up with us," he said thoughtfully, fairly monotonously with slight synthetic inflection. Professor X shrugged. "I have been wondering, why here? Like anyone who just showed up, really, why here, with us, at this particular point in time?"
  3. He chuckled. "Falling accidentally into multiversal portals certainly is. Why, I nearly destroyed the Knights when they first found me, out of sheer fright!"
  4. Professor X grinned. "Back in my day, everyone was wanting to go where I went. X is the best, they said! I'd be glad to have such a grand fighter by my side."
  5. "But we're in imminent threat for our lives! The... uh, grass. Is growing." Lane blinked. "Doesn't sound as bad when you put it like that, I guess." Stephen interrupted. "I get that we're splitting up, and my Knights are ready for that. I need to know what the missions are so I can delegate resources appropriately. It's called crew resource management. Don't suppose you can help tell us what is needed for what missions?" "Yes, I get you're surprised, but the grass is very much pressing against this tent now," Ely said. "Let's go."
  6. Lane shrugged. "As far as I understand, this is home camp. We got tents set up and everything, and we're trying to win a war. We could move camp, or we could figure out what's going on with the stupid grass! And those trees! They're so tall now!" He tilted his head. "And yes, these colorful blocks are the BEST."
  7. "What could go wrong?" Lane shrugged. The young teenager held up a Rubik's cube. "This one'll cause a fire explosion!" he said excitedly, a little too loud. "Where? Grass is everywhere."
  8. "A car! A metal monstrosity that carries people around, in my world. Well, it's in the shape of a car. It's actually just LEGOs. Anywho. Whaddya say we set fire to all this grass? Or is that maybe not the smartest idea?"
  9. "No, no, no..." Lane disappeared for a couple seconds, then reappeared in another flash of green light. "Like this!" He held up a miniature LEGO car proudly.
  10. Lane smiled. "It's a highly complex, interlocking brick system! But, like, as a toy. Here, I always have a couple in my pocket." He pulled out a couple blue LEGO bricks.
  11. "A working LEGO launcher," Lane complained. "I've been working on one but it keeps breaking, not generating enough force to be deadly."
  12. A quiet, soft, far-away voice spoke in the minds of everyone nearby the sword. Yes, I do, actually.
  13. "It's quite the sword, even mine can't change color," Stephen said. "Though mine does have a name. Meet Levi!" The sword called Levi soared out of his hands, cutting vines and spinning around.
  14. Professor X retrieved his Pokeball. "Huh, that usually works." The grass began to grow, and trees branched off. Professor X threw another ball, this one hovering in midair and releasing the dark blue dragon within—Garchomp. The dragon landed by Professor X's side and they began looking around in confusion. Stephen ran and scooped up Redstripe before he could get enveloped and lost in the grass. Redstripe had little time to care about the touch of a human. "I guess..." Stefan said, swinging his shimmering rainbow sword in wide arcs to cut the grass. "What's doing this?" Both Stephen and Konrig drew their swords as well, but their efforts did little against the rising foliage. Ghostfire knelt, examining the creature's bodies, lasering the nearby grass as needed. Kelly threw back his hood, revealing long, flowing blonde hair, and several earrings. He pulled out a shotgun and stepped into a defensive stance, brandishing it, unsure of where or what the threat was. Lane just clutched his Rubik's cubes. Ely would've relished in their surprise, but he noticed an almost increased pressure on the floor of the tent. "Sorry to change the subject, is the grass beneath us growing?" @Channelknight Fadran @Spren of Kindness
  15. "Woah, there, hold on," Stefan said. "Let us listen to the things he has to say," Konrig added. Stephen eyed the man. "You're fine so far, at least," says Stephen. "Welcome to the Fellowship's camp."
  16. I felt the same way, the pacing felt way too fast for me, which makes sense considering how much they're trying to condense. I feel like the stories of the episodes would do better as a movie, or a Disney+ series of its own, but because of how squished it is I have greater difficulty enjoying it.
  17. My experience with Fellowship of the Thing
  18. "These creatures are nothing," Professor X said, "Back in my day, I used to grapple with legendary beings of creation itself!" Then he stepped towards a stray dyrling and threw a Pokeball at it.
  19. "You and me both, brother," Stefan said, stepping back. He ran near one of the creatures and let loose the kinetic energy that his vibranium armor had stored—unleashing the pure force of hurling into a mountain and the smashing of a boulder—in a green explosion. He drew his rainbow sword again.
