  1. Oh hi and welcome.
  2. Stephen nodded. "I simply discovered the multiverse, and the navigator of my invention pointed me where to go. We've been at this five years, only found about a dozen or less Knights across the different timelines. Some of us wanted a chance to finish their lives before coming with us—asked me to come back before they die, which was barely an inconvenience."
  3. Stefan smiled. He called his sword back to his hand, and sheathed it again. His helmet retreated back into his suit. "It's snow, a squishy solid version of water that falls from the skies. We get a lot of it where I come from."
  4. Stephen glanced at their snowy clothing. "It was good to watch indeed, your strength is formidable. Did you guys... crash into a mountain?"
  5. Stefan caught his breath from the ride. "Aye, no problem. I'm always up for a good fight, eh? Good for your bones, I think."
  6. Stefan stood up, and his vision faded black a bit. He ran a quick bodily analysis on himself. Some minor bumps and bruises but otherwise he was fine. "We'd better. Do we have to do it quite so... fast... this time? And what was your name again. Meanwhile, back at camp, Professor X gave Stephen a look. "Think we ought to... help?" "Nah, he's a Knight. He'll be fine."
  7. Stefan grunted again, his plated vibranium armor still managing to stay together. It absorbed most of the impact, the tremendous force of the impact becoming a form of green energy stored within the suit. He mentally dropped his sword and it landed on the snowy mountaintop. While his body was in a state of shock, again, his mind still raced. It was very cold. He helped the man to his feet. "What was that? How far did we go?"
  8. From past experience conversing with Twolegs, Redstripe has learned that they were way smarter than meets the eye. He could intuitively pick up on what she was trying to say, yet he ducked down low and pounced on it all the same.
  9. “It’s okay, sorry, I’m with the Knights,” he said, “Couldn’t help but practice my covert skills when I saw you come over here.” Redstripe looked at the toy in disgust and sighed. He was a wild cat through and through, he didn’t play with toys! But seeing the light in the Twoleg’s eyes caused him to hesitate. He grudgingly gave it a sniff, since she was being so kind. Oh, if Moonstar could see me now... he thought, and was very glad she wasn’t here to see him.
  10. I think sapience is what matters. I think it just comes down to: Spren of near or above human intelligence are morally equivalent to humans. Spren of animal intelligence are morally equivalent to animals (which again is touchy, because some kill animals and some don’t)
  11. I decided to start watching it, and chose Campaign 1, Episode 1 to start with. I’m now onto Episode 7. I have a bit of watching to do to catch up lol.
  12. “Hold up,” Stefan shouted over the winds, feeling a pang of fear as they flew. “What the heck was that?” His mind was racing, attempting to analyze his every surroundings, but they were traveling too fast for it to be reliable.
  13. Stefan’s chip hadn’t anticipated such speed, and he stayed in place. However, he mentally called his sword back to him, and the sword flew off the ground and through the air, hilt first, in a straight line towards him, with the rider in its path.
  14. I really wish I could just live on the Shard 24/7, like I’ve been doing today.

Working is alright but I quickly learned that the reason people work is to retire.

I’ve been working full time for not even 2 years and already want to retire forever.

  15. Stefan’s AI-enhanced mind noticed this and immediately he halts the attack and leaps back a few feet, instead kicking the rainbow sword far past the man. He bounced, light and ready to dodge.
  16. (SH) Or the Heralds, or any Cognitive Shadow. Or Adonalsium.
  17. I think a lot of the posts, especially recent ones, are goofing around waiting for plot to happen. There is a brief(ish) explanation of lore/plot in the OG post, but all I really know for the last hundred pages is there’s a couple evil multiverse empires we want to stop, and currently we are on Elantris and were trying to stop Wyrn, a version with the support of these multiverse empires. Right now a bunch of new people showed up (10 of which are myself... don’t ask) and we’re just having a load of character interaction and good times while we wait for the thread to split into a few, to refocus on plot. I don’t know if that answers your question. To join, simply just have a character show up. Random multiverses portals are common for this very reason, and half the characters have just fallen out of the sky randomly (I like to say that the reason is because there isn’t high multiverses activity, but there’s no real worldbuilding reason I know of). I think the Macrocosmos is fairly infinite, and this technically any world is possible. A world could be as you say simply because it is so far into the infinities that no one has ever needed to touch it. I think, however, it seems that it is technically possible for multiverse-hoppers to hop to any universe within the Macrosmos, if that makes sense. I don’t think or know of any way to shield from that.
  18. I’ve worked with dentists and feel obligated to say that soda is horrible for your teeth. The sugar packed in there is bad enough, but the other killer is the acidity (so sugar free is not safe). With every sip your teeth are all coated with it, and it’ll dissolve away for like twenty minutes. So people who sip soda over the course of hours... well, they end up like the gamer in their early 20s who is getting full dentures. Brush your teeth before and after any soda, please. That being said, WHO CARES ABOUT MY TEETH WHEN THERE IS ROOT BEER
  19. Stefan grabs his hand and pulls himself up. He gives him a second to get back into fighting stance before he lunges into a flurry of attacks, tossing his shimmering rainbow sword to the ground. The AI in his mind kicked in, identifying trigger points and tracing his opponent’s movements to more effectively land critical blows. Elsewhere in the camp, a fly on the flap of a tent cleared it’s throat after some successful eavesdropping and dropped to the ground, transforming into a little eight-year-old kid with curly red hair. “I’m good at covert,” he offered, his eyes twitching. @Spren of Kindness @Channelknight Fadran
  20. Quick clarification for everyone here, we look at the picture and only send off one word, correct? ‘Cause I almost sent two before I remembered.
