Hey, not bad. I very much think Kelsier is going to be a bad guy, due to Brandon's continuously repeated statement that if Kelsier were in any other story, he'd be the villain.

"Well, it's very close to the eastern ocean, so right up against there there are these beaches, right? And it's also pretty close to the desert, but it's not in the desert. So there is a lot of sand, but also a lot of grass and stuff."

Cavalier glanced at the tree that Pia was hiding behind. "Hey," he whispered. "Have you ever heard of the land called Koid?"

Cavalier did not participate in the conversation but he did continue staring at kippies at random, thinking about Koid. That place was very cool, he had had a good time there.

A people with technology for microscopes don't have to know about bacteria. A quick google search reveals that the microscope was invented in 1590, while bacteria was actually discovered as a cause of infections in 1676.

Cavalier continued to think about Koid. Dang, that place was the coolest. He lived there, once.

Exactly. Remember how he was actually surprised when he found out he could beat Kelsier up? How has all of Hoid's life, he had never interacted with a Cognitive Shadow he could beat up, if it was just because they were a Cognitive Shadow? Plus, I like to think Hoid used to carry the same Dawnshard, "Survive", as we know his time holding a Dawnshard has something to do with: - his longer than normal life (coughs because it was literally the Dawnshard of Survival, maybe? coughs) - his inability to harm others (coughs because harming is the opposite of Survival, maybe? coughs) - his inability to eat meat (coughs does anyone have a cough drop? coughs)
