  1. Define aluminum guy
  2. I was reading Oathbringer outside when I suddenly realized that I wasn't alone... there was a character from Words of Radiance standing right there!

How to get rich in Scadrial

Just imagine walking into Elendel with this in tow...
  4. From the album: How to get rich in Scadrial

I'm rusting rich, boys and girls:
  5. Granted. You get smallpox. And you die. Before SA4 comes out. I wish to become a necromancer
  6. It's really hard to come up with an original idea nowadays, @AonEne. I came up with the oath-sword thing before I ever read the Stormlight Archive, then went through it and realized just how much "original" stuff I had that was totally not original. I mean, I have a rift in spacetime called the "Parallarity" that transports people between the six worlds of the Iconar Collective. Try and picture my jaw dropping as I realized a Perpendicularity was a thing!
  7. If I recognize @Kelsier'sGodComplex profile picture correctly... do you mean it will be passed down through the Armstrong family for generations?
  8. Ooooh. That game. I lost it years ago. A Channelblade is the sword of a Channelknight. It possesses similar functions to that of a Shardblade (it can be summoned, and is possessed by the Channelknights by the process of making an oath), but doesn't possess the ability to cut through anything or sever something's soul. It can, however, harm a god, which is cool, and grants its user the ability to heal from minor wounds so as said wounds aren't a result of another Channelblade or a god's weapon. It isn't canon to the cosmere (or related to the cosmere at all). Being an author has provided me some liberties of worldbuilding, in case you can't tell.
  9. The frick is going on? *Summons Channelblade and defends Nameless*
  10. Granted, but you don't have any sauce... or parmesan... or water to cook it in. You just have a few sticks of raw pasta. I wish for a fancy sword named "Arrowblood"
  11. We got a feisty new member here! Welcome to the shard, nonetheless.
  12. Welcome, m'lad (lad? lass? eh, whatever). What's your favorite Sanderson book?
  13. You currently have three questions to answer, so I'm just going to say "hello." Hello!
  14. That was actually the direction we were going, yeah, but good idea anyway.
  15. Granted. You now have a shardplate that never runs out of stormlight. However, your shardblade now requires stormlight to cut through things. I wish for pancakes.
  16. The two are interchangeable.
  17. Cool-Aunt Shallan for Kaladin's new baby brother.
  18. Pandering crossovers. Let's face it, we all want Wayne and Lift to get into heaps of trouble together, but the last thing we want is that happening for the sake of it happening. Crossovers are fine. Unexplained and pointless crossovers are not fine. Adolin becoming an Edgedancer... Love triangle... Yeah, nunna that. Am I the only one who thinks that a Dalinar death would be super dramatic and would build a ton of conflict for Book 5?
  19. Here's where the Stormlight Archives BG is at: The Board is a Map of Roshar Every player receives a random Knight Radiant card, and the spren card to match it (we have these fleshed out) In order to do more oaths and get more power, a player must get and spend Oathpoints One way to get Oathpoints is by doing a thing described on your Spren card (we don't have this fleshed out) Another way is to complete an Achievement Card (all sorts of things can be on these, from "kill a chull" to "turn a stick into fire." I AM STICK!) Item Cards: Each item card has its name, cost, ability, picture, and description on it (I made some sample cards) Types of item cards: Weapons, Armor, Fabrials, and Misc. You can visit the Nightwatcher to choose a Boon card and a Bane card (These aren't fleshed yet) Spheres (as reversible cardboard pieces) hold stormlight, which can be used in accordance to various surges and fabrials (This is pretty basic, so fleshing isn't quite as required) The Highstorm comes at the end of every round, refilling dun spheres with stormlight & doing something detrimental to people outside during it (We don't exactly have that fleshed out either, but we're thinking a Catan 7+ cards kind of thing). The Everstorm comes later in the game, but occurs as often as the Highstorm (We don't exactly know what it does, though). There’s going to be a semi-complicated combat system, but the details haven’t been fleshed out yet
  20. I am at a loss for words. Congratulations, Comatose, this is darned impressive.
  21. Granted. You now have no wishes and no banes. You new bane, however, is that making another wish will bring all these banes back. I wish for a glass of water. I'm thirsty.
  22. The worst: Elantrian Alleyway The best: Perhaps the Well of Ascension?
  23. I think you forgot to quote someone...
