    "Which is why I offered to carry it for you!" Ellis frowned. "Maybe you're supposed to kill the magician with it? No, that doesn't make any sense..."

    "Well... first you're going to want an army. Then you need to engage the Wyrn's forces on multiple fronts. Get an armada. Man the mountans. Strike him all at once while you infiltrate the palace. It's more important than taking out the Wyrn; you need to send a message, too, and you need send it in bold font, times new roman, preferably size twenty-seven. A revolution has to crush its foe to properly defeat it."

    "Infiltrative tactics?" Fadran scratched his head; not because he was thinking. Because it was itchy. "Methinks your master plan's going to need a few more layers than that."

    "I don't know. I don't have any, though."

    "Gleaming city in the distance," Ellis agreed.

    "Absolutely. What is it?"

    "All of them? There's no way you could handle all of them while we freed Aryanna."

    "I have no idea. It'd be nice if I know what I was trying to tell myself." Ellis frowned. "Okay, now I'm even more confused."

    "Well, my abilities include elemental manipulation, magical healing, illusionary magic, the ability to control objects, the ability to dissolve things, and the ability to fix broken items, though I'm only really good at the elemental and healing kind. That's not what I meant by help, though: like I said, I've led battalions. I've fought in two wars. I hope that my tactical experience can be of some use. Strategies, inspirational methods, the like." Fadran took in a breath. "That didn't sound like I was bragging, right? Because I wasn't trying to brag. Consider all that stuff as my resume."
