    Fadran settled into a nook in the branches. "Back when I was in the army, the only reason I'd want a view like this was to strategize." He stretched. "It's... easier to just look out at the view and try not to worry about anything."

    Queen put up quite the competition, but Fadran was second to none in tree-climbing. He was one the top boughs of the tree before long, taking a deep breath. "Quite the view up here!"

    “Guys...“ Janice whispered.

    Fadran grabbed the branch himself, hoisting himself up with his momentum. He didn’t stop between branches, instead using his own weight to hop from branch to branch without so much as a delay in between.

    "Oh, right. That place. See, where I'm from, the only way to get by is to fight."

    "I was... joking. How are you at climbing trees?"

    "Really? Where are you from?"

    "I know what? That you've never fought before? I just assumed that you preferred not to fight."

    Janice tried to tune out her companions.

    "What do you mean, you've never fought before? How the heck have you survived?"

    "Well... alright, then. Where to first? That tent or that other tent?"

    "Getting messy is part of the fight!"

    Am I the only one who's played this freakishly adorable mobile game? It's completely pointless and yet SO PURE at the same time.

    "Where would we go? We should probably stay in the camp."

    "That it is." He stretched. "I was actually lying about needing sleep: I'll only sleep when the plot requires me to. What do you want to do, now that we've got a safe place to stay for awhile?"
