Realization flashes across Ellis's face. "What color was her hair again?"

"Squish... yes. Fine... yes. Keep going." -
"Careful... let's make sure not to--oof." Fadran found himself pressed between the doorframe and the tree.

"Yep. Right here." Fadran punched a button, opening up a door.

"Who?"

"Alright; let's get this thing into the tower."

"It's not like I'm in his inner circle. I just got a small job from him."

"Well... glad you were aware that my pea-sized cranium could handle that sudden influx of information."

"Geeze!" Fadran's hand leaps to his forehead. "I don't think your extra-godly knowledge was designed to fit into my tiny mortal brain." He blinks rapidly. "Wowza. Is this how gods feel all the time?"

"And that is?"

"Well... I'm not super good at the mindscape stuff, but I'll do my best."

Janice could only cry as the soldiers bound her... though whether it was from the pain or the sorrow, she couldn't tell.

"My Parallarities are iffy at best, but I'll do what I can. Good luck."

"You're a horrible person!" Janice screamed. "You're a murderer and a liar!"

"Please." Janice was begging now. "Please, just let us go."

"I have an entrance to my 'lair' not far from here. I haven't fired up the portal in awhile, though, so... we'll see what happens."

"I should probably stay behind and fulfil what Herate wanted."

"Your pain is not an excuse to hurt other people!" She stared defiantly at the rifle, though her face was covered in tears. "Go ahead and kill me. Go ahead! Prove you're a horrible person! Prove that you don't care who dies! Prove that your mother raised a son to murder people who never wanted any part in all this suffering anyways!"
