  1. "We should probably get going as soon as possible. That storm was powerful, and I'd hope we don't have to get caught in another one, out here in the open."
  2. Yeah, I know, I know. I'm sorry. I've spent the last couple days writing a last-minute entry into the Scholastic Art and Writing competition, but now that I've finished that, I should be able to get back to doing this.
  3. "I... hate... running... up... stairs..." Between every word was a deep gulp of air.
  4. "What are you guys bickering about?" Xaoth asked over the comms. @Vapor @Ookla the Grammatical
  5. "You study magic?"
  6. "I'll just have some of our female workers do the job, sir." The sargeant lead the soldiers carrying their stretchers down to one of the ships, taking the two girls down belowdecks. "We probably have a few extras on us. No guarantees they'll fit perfectly, but they'll do in a pinch." @Vapor @Ookla the Grammatical
  7. Trace emerged from the room as an entirely different person. Well… kind of. After spending roughly two hours under a showerhead, she had commandeered several of the Talon’s barbers (because they apparently had those) to redo her hair in a more… manageable fashion. She had them cut it short, curving it in and back to create a angled, pixie-cut-like style. Janice’s old messy curls were no more. After that, Trace had raided the armory. Apparently, there were several Talon members with Aspects that drew on pain; enough to have a few extra suits built for that purpose on hand. After spending an hour browsing their selection, she finally selected one. So from the room came a demon in a thirteen-year-old girl’s body, properly dressed for completing a mission. Trace wore gray trousers—fresh ones, this time—and non-constricting shoes. On her torso, she wore a sleeveless vest of shining black armor, on which several red lines ran parallel to one another, sending other offshoots to intersect out her sides and connect into a diamond-like shape over her chest. Dagger in hand and days of wretchedness behind her, Trace strode out of the Talon base to find the traitor.
  8. They arrived at the foot of the tower with their hearty masterbuilder crew. "Up we go, then?"
  9. "Great. Be back soon." Trace went to go suit up.
  10. "Very well. I'll bring the young one... or perhaps I'll kill her. That might just do the trick to knock Janice out of my head." Trace stands up. "I hope you don't mind if I borrow some equipment? Your shower stalls might be helpful as well. Janice hasn't changed in three years."
  11. "He's still alive, then?" Trace asked, amused. "Your employees, traitor or otherwise, are always surprisingly resilient." Lloyd's alive? LLOYD'S ALIVE??? Janice would've laughed aloud if she had control of... well, anything. "I'll bring him to you, along with... the duster? The ice girl? Perhaps that prisoner of yours?"
  12. @Narcoleptic Axolotl, I have great respect for you now.
  13. Ellis hesitated, thinking for a moment, then kept running.
  14. "I... something's wrong. Something bad is happening."
  15. "Indeed. How do you feel about crazed gods?"
  16. "Evil is... ev--" He blinked a few times. "What?"
  17. Ellis's eyes shot up. "Evil is here." He said, almost as if in a trance. He began running for the wizard's tower. @Ookla the Grammatical
  18. "Perhaps it would be welcome to hear that I believe your traitor is already dead?" @I Am A Fish
  19. "It will be done... though I'm going to need to upgrade my equipment. I'm afraid this dumpster clothing isn't very efficient for battlefield situations."
  20. Hold up. *T's hands* CBST is canon to Fellowship?
  21. Does this mean we can make The Linear Thread canon to Fellowship?
