    "Oh really? I think you're going to be quite terrified once I'm through with you." Trace slid the dagger's edge lightly across Cadenza's neck, leaving a bloody line in the same shape as the black vein going across Trace's own throat. She grinned. "Quite terrified indeed."

    "Now, I want you to be properly terrified before I finish off Janice."

    Trace grabbed Cadenza's throat, then pressed the dagger point to it. "All of you, back off!" She shouted. @Ookla the Hemalurgic Pinto @Vapor

    Because physics exist, Trace slipped and fell. "Your powers are the most infuriating things on the planet!" Trace growled, then stabbed at Cadenza's shin.

    It bonked. Lots of bonks today, it seemed. "That's right." Trace threw herself towards Cadenza with a burst of force, grabbing her arm. "But that's unimportant."

    "You came here to kill Lena. I came here to kill Janice. I'm following through, you aren't. I suggest you fix that."

    Deciding that the military wimp had been taken care of, Trace turned back to Cadenza.

    "Kill," Trace confirmed, dodging the energy and ramming her dagger into Maddy's shoulder.

    Trace didn't react quickly enough. The knife dug deep into her arm, making her scream. Foolish military weirdo. She grabbed Maddy's arm, pulling her forwards, then grabs her own dagger and stabs it hard to where she guessed Maddy's chin to be.
